We need to upgrade our patio furniture this year. I’d like to order so that it arrives by spring. LOL. Does anyone have white Polywood? Does it get totally filth or is it ok? I think white would probably look best on our deck (pic below with colors) but is that a mistake? Also our deck gets direct sun so white might be good to keep it cooler.
There is a tree that drops pollen nearby too.
Thoughts?
Looking at this set but also open to feedback. I saw Costco has Polywood too but it doesn’t seem like a deal. Open to all advice!

We have it and love it. It turned green because of being in the grass and getting grass clippings on it, so I powerwashed it and it's totally fine again. We have four Adirondack chairs we bought through Costco and two we bought through Polywood. They seem the same quality but the Costco ones were cheaper.
We have polywood chairs and a separate table but not in white. The material is so easy to clean that even if it did get dirty, a quick rinse from the hose and a wipe down and it would be good to go.
My parents have a polywood table and chairs set in white with a woodgrain texture. The texture traps dirt and gets gross, but it cleans up well. I'll say this every time someone asks about polywood - it's durable but *ugly*. It's very thick and clunky looking. There are alot of options for durable outdoor furniture these days.
We have black Polywood rocking chairs on our front porch. It's west facing in Houston, one of those places that has a season called the pollening. They still look brand new 2 years later. I just give them a good rinse with a strong hose and a wipe down with very diluted cleanser once the pollen subsides.
I don't find them particularly ugly or clunky compared to other rocking chairs I could find up to twice the price I spent. These are more decorative than functional; there was a limit on how much I wanted to spend and how often I wanted to replace them.
Totally forgot, we also have Adirondack chairs around our fire pit. I bought those from Costco; for the cost of 2 chairs from Polywood I got 2 chairs + a side table from Costco. I needed side tables and these were particularly appealing because this set is not in a covered area. I have some plants on the tables with no worries about rotting or damage.

We have Polywood, light brown, and it cleans easily. Ours looks classic and sleek. It is heavy, but that adds to the durability and it didn't move an inch during a really bad storm last summer that caused lots of trees to uproot.
We just got a white set over the summer (actually the table top is gray but everything else is white). It's down by our pool and I really like it. It does get dirty even though it's by our pool with no trees. Power washing cleans it well. We did buy covers for the winter because the sales lady suggested it so it they don't get dingy. Ours isn't actually Polywood- we got from a local pool/spa store and it's from an Amish man somewhere in the middle of the state. We saved some $ by doing this but it was still expensive. The biggest thing I wanted was arms on the chairs and was having a hard time finding something I liked.
We have the round lakeside dining set in green and love it. We also have multiple brown Polywood seating areas. No experience with the white, but all of our Polywood furniture has been super easy to spray/wipe down.
We have some white end tables at our beach house and they don’t get dirty.
We love polywood. It’s not fancy, but the maintenance can’t be beat. We have a wicker set with cushions on our screen porch and they are high maintenance despite covering.

I went with the Highwood brand as they offer a “king size” wider chair. The white chairs stay out year round in a Wisconsin winter and have held up great. I use Dawn Powerwash and that cleans it up well.
H and I love our Polywood table and 6 chairs set! It's on our covered back patio so doesn't get weather or grass clippings on it. H pressure washes it as needed because it does get mud/dirt on it due to DS' dirt spot being nearby. It cleans up great!
We have the exact set you linked to. Our set is dark brown because that's the color I wanted. We bought directly from their website.
We bought Polywood specifically for environmental reasons. They're made from recycled milk cartons and that really appealed to us.

Polywood is the absolute best. I had a patio set at my old house that the buyers bought from me. It will last forever! Worth every penny. I just bought a shower bench and outdoor table of the same material
I think we have that exact Polywood set (or pretty damn close) in dark brown from Costco. We like it a lot. It smelled like hot laundry for the first couple weeks (because it’s made of recycled detergent bottles I guess?). It cleans up well. Ours probably needs a pressure washing, but otherwise is in great shape. The chairs are pretty big and roomy and feel sturdy. Sturdy backyard furniture is a must. I’ve sat on too many flimsy plastic chairs in friend and family backyards as a plus-size person and it’s terrifying every time.
We have two of the Lakeside Polywood sets in gray and 4 white Polywood rocking Adirondacks. They are so easy to clean and hold up to almost everything. Would definitely purchase again.
