I have never been able to decide what color her eyes are. They change somewhat depending on her mood and the light and what colors are around her. They were gray until she was at least 2, not sure when they shifted. I got a particularly good picture, so help me figure it out!
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
They're exactly like my kid's eyes. Except DS doesn't have the enviable lashes.
His pedi considers them "hazel" and his eye doctor said "gray". I asked both when I was doing his passport application. I'd say they're the color of the north Atlantic on an overcast day.
I'm a medium blue and DH's eyes are an almost black brown. His are the color they were when he was born; he's a throwback to my MIL.
If you think this photo is an accurate representation of what they look like in person, then hazel. There's clearly a lot of gray in it, but just as clearly there's a lot of brown.
I wish there was a catchall term for eyes that have multiple colors that don't include brown. Mine are medium blue-gray-green but I just say they're blue. DH's eyes are a very clear lighter blue that can't be called anything else.
INTERESTING. My mom has green eyes for sure, sometimes even a little blue-ish.
I have a very similar eye color and have always called them hazel. I love wearing green because it makes my eyes look really green but they can also look very gray and light brown

Hm, I'd say they lean more blue/gray in the outer ring in person, with a lot of variation in lighting. This photo was taking in bright but indirect sunlight in front of a picture window with her facing the window (and me trying to not cast a shadow on her).
At her 2 year well-visit I asked her doctor what color she thought kiddo's eyes were, and her answer was "huh, I have no idea!"
I'd say hazel too. Mine are on the brown gold green spectrum. DD's are more on the blue side than the green side, but I still consider hers hazel also.
Tr has green eyes. Your kid has Hazel - brown plus grey tones.
I have what I call ‘water colored’ and my husband calls ‘sweater colored’ eyes since they change with my clothes: grey/blue/green tpnes. It says grey on my license (they are more blue/green than grey but not specifically either of those so I went with grey). My youngest and husband both have distinctly amber eyes but he lists his as brown.
My kid has the same color eyes and I just marked Hazel on his passport application. He’s 5 and up until a year or so ago I would have said his eyes were blue with zero hesitation.
Fwiw it’s likely they did/continue to change color. My mom was born with dark brown eyes that turned hazel in her earlier adult years and are now light green at age 60. Mine used to be more hazel but are now more green.
