I checked their website yesterday, but there was nothing about shipping dates yet. My moms birthday is Feb 7th and I love ordering them for her. I think I’m wait and order on the 2nd.
I ordered last year and they were pretty sad, but I am giving it another chance.
This is what's holding me back! I really want to send some to a couple friends, but sending crappy flowers somehow feels worse than not sending any. lol

I've done 4-5 tulip orders over the last couple of years and they have all been good. My peonies never opened, though, so I'd skip those (they did refund me, but I wouldn't chance sending them to someone else).

Adding to the chorus of - my tulips were crappy.
Plan 15 minutes to call a local florist and go that route for delivery if you want to surprise someone. There’s a little more confidence that your gift won’t get stuck in a box at a sorting facility for too many days.

Last year got weird due to carrier delivery. I had two bunches arrive late, to the point that the flowers only partly revived. I think delivery for carriers is now better? I haven't heard anything like the issues they were having last year.

Last year I sent them to someone and it was sad. This year, I’m sending them to myself and if they are nice I may deliver them myself since they are close to me. 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve ordered several times for myself and others last year and only once were they bad. And if I recall correctly, those were delivered during an artic freeze.
I got ones delivered on Thursday. The red are opening this morning and are perfect. The pink are still closed.
I ordered some for my sister after her dog passed and she received them Thursday. She seems pleased with them as of Friday night but they had yet to open. I imagine she’ll share with me when they do.
That farm is about 30 minutes from our house and is amazing. It is one of my girls favorite places. In the fall they have sunflowers growing.
We also live nearby! We brought our zealous four year old (at the time) and she picked tulips plus bulbs. I felt so bad! Lovely place. Great array of sunflowers in the fall, too.
Anyone who does live around here, the farm across the street from Holland Ridge is called Stone Tavern Orchards. It is lovely! So many different apple trees, corn maze, wagons, tractor ride, large pumpkin patch, etc. Check it out next fall.
