Fri: 3.3 mile run Sat: 4.25 mile run Sun: 60 min on elliptical
BQ: only goal is to keep up with some sort of exercise. Maybe get back to a place where I like/want to run, instead of it feeling like a chore. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy moving in other ways.
F & S: nothing Sunday: 7 mile run + 3.5 mile bike ride. I ran with a brewery run group for the first time and they were a) all dudes and b) faster than me, so it helped me push my pace (a lot).
Friday and Sunday-a whole lot of nothing Saturday-10 mile long run before it got super windy, then schlepping kid #1 and his buddy around a hockey game in the evening. My legs were TOAST, haha.
BQ-running a half marathon with a friend 4/15. No real time goal, just trying to get back in my pre kid #2 and pre pandemic pattern of 2 halves a year!
Friday and Saturday we were on our spring break trip, so not much except walking at the beach Friday and Saturday was a travel day. Sunday: 30 min Peloton cycle and 25 minute walk
BQ: No big goals, but looking forward to getting outside again.
Friday: PT and mobility work, martial arts Saturday: salsa class - we just started and even though we missed the first 2 weeks, the teacher is great and we caught in fast. It was so fun and exceeded my expectations! H said he’s excited to go back and he was a little skeptical Sunday: 4.7 m run
BQ: I’m coming back from an embolization procedure in my left leg, so I’m very happy to be moving and almost have all my range of motion back (still dealing with some pain and inflammation and squatting/kneeling are troublesome). That’s been affecting me since July 9, 2022 and I’ve had sometimes limited, sometimes no activity all throughout. Recovery from procedure was rougher than expected (“just take a week off exercise” was sugercoated as I expected, but so much more than I expected 🙄). ANYWAY, doing a half in June and my only goal is to be really smart about progressing toward it and not hurt myself since I don’t have the base and I’m still not 100% recovered.
