F: PT for my ankle. They are torturing me. Sat.: Supported teammates at a gravel bike race. Mostly consisted of me cheering at the start and as they finished sitting in a chair. Walked around the gorgeous part that served as the venue a little bit while waitig for them to finish.
Sunday: Went to the stables to pick up my stuff. My instructor has discontinued her lesson program (not that I've ridden since the collision).
BQ: I like the heat more than the cold. I'm not saying I love 90 degrees with 98% humidity in July, but I like it better than 40 with a windchill of 32 and wind. I can wear much less clothing (ie just shorts and a jersey) and don't feel like the Michelin gal when I ride. (arm warmers, short sleeve jersey, long sleeve base layer, fleece jacket, fleece bib knickers/tights, heavy gloves, shoe covers, hand warmers, etc. All seasons include shoes & a helmoet.)
Friday: stretching, walking, strength training (and crying, because I pulled weeds on Thursday, and every muscle in me was on fire.) Saturday: crap ass 5k. finished it, but had to walk some because i was shaky. no clue what went wrong. Sunday: managed to get 3/4 of my rings closed by just picking up the house. food is not tasting normal to me. (not feeling sick otherwise, so don't think its covid). maybe some acid reflux? i dunno. hoping tomorrow's run is ok.
BQ: Don't love either extreme, but I think i'd rather have heat than cold (or run anything over 3-4mi on the treadmill). Its been really cloudy here - I'm missing sunlight. But I keep reminding myself at some point i'm going to miss 50 and overcast.
