We live very close to the path of the storm, like a mile south. There were uprooted trees everywhere on my way home. DH was working from home and the dogs were hiding under his desk. He sent me a video of the wind, it was crazy. I was at work and I could see rotation in the clouds from my office window and then it started pouring and hailing like crazy. My boss was in the middle of placing a filling and he just kept working so I did too but I kept watching out the window and if I saw an actual tornado I was making a run for the stairs.

It hailed on my side of town but wasn't too bad. Noticed some hail damage tonight and am crossing my fingers it was from one of the earlier storms since the insurance inspector was here this morning. 🤦♀️ I obsessively checked the radar for a while because usually tornado warnings are on this side of town, but it didn't get close.
isabel, that pic is insane! I'm in SE Aurora and we didn't get anything too crazy. The kids and me still went into the basement for about 30 min and turned the news on down there. The storm at midnight the day before was worse.
I think skidunks was closest to the worst of it and she’s ok. I’m nearby, but all good here (aside from a damp basement ::sobs:.
noooo was it a leak? Or from the crazy amount of rain?
We’re not sure. We noticed it was damp along one wall before we went to Mexico. It was definitely letting water in (though not a ton) with the storm this week. We have appointments scheduled with a few companies to see what’s going on, but they’re all booked out like crazy. We’re not the only ones dealing with this right now. So we’ll see in mid-July.
