Friday: Off Saturday: 22 mile gravel ride partly in the rain; washing my bike and car Sunday: 46 mile hard road ride
BQ: Luckily cycling (except mountain biking) creates a breeze. I stay well hydrated. I also take a Salt Stick before I ride. If it was a really sweaty ride I'll have some coconut milk to replace potassium (see: Heart stuff....need extra potassium)
Friday: none, had a cavity refilled, so spent a good 4 hours with part of my face numb. Saturday: 5 miles Sunday: pool day!
BQ: I get up early to get my run in (start ~7am), but I'm finding I need to start even earlier now - the humidity is just awful. I fill my hydration vest bladder with ice and water, and that helps, and I drink ice cold electrolytes right after (GU electrolyte tabs). I've decided I'm only running in shade now. F*** the sun. Luckily I live somewhere that can accommodate that.

Fri: 4 mile walk Sat: 30 min cycle class, 2.5 mile walk Sun: 35 cycle class, 35 min elliptical, strength
BQ: this summer I just don’t run outside. To be fair, I’m running much at all right now while I rehab and injury. But it’s been consistently 100° with the real feel at least 8-10 degrees hotter. I do walk outside. No more than 15 min at a time and only in the shade. Which, luckily, is pretty easy where I live. Mostly I just make sure to hydrate and I always have ice water waiting for me when I get home.
BQ: I like drinking LMNT before a long run and freezing my hydration pack (water/Gatorade mix). Other than that, I just wear super light clothes and slow way down.
