Friday: Off Saturday: 63 mile (what cyclists call a metric century/100km) at 18.5 mph. My 2nd fastest ever. My fastest ever was 23+ mph and finishing in about 2:48. Sunday: 24 mile group gravel ride
BQ: I've recently been liking Scratch Chews (blocks). I have been relying on Gu w/caffeine for years. My favs are salted caramel and chocolate and mint chocolate. I also like crackers, granola bars, Honey Stinger waffles, and the usual cycling food. I almost always drink plain water.

Fri: 1.3 mile run, 4 miles walking, strength Sat: 35 min spin session, 30 min elliptical, stretching Sun: 1.55 mile run, 3 mile run, stretching
I’ve been dealing with a groin pull/pain so I’m slowly easing back into running, and I’m trying add easy stretching more regularly. I’m excited by how much better I’m feeling.
BQ: I like honey stinger waffles and chews and Gatorade endurance (not the lemon lime flavor, ugh) as a drink. I always prefer plain ice water, but sometimes in this heat, I need the Gatorade.
Friday: 10mi bike ride Saturday: 2 miles with strides Sunday: 4 miles
Ugh, my PF is flaring again. Waaaaahhhhh.
BQ: If I run >6 miles, i have Kodiak Protein Waffles for breakfast. I like Honey Stinger chews (though i wish the caffeinated ones tasted better) and GU electrolyte tabs. I just ordered some Gatorlyte packets, which have fun flavors. I will report back.

Ok 9 months post partum and I’ve been consistently working out for a couple months now, wahoo! It really helps that I have a full gym in my building and our part time nanny is also a personal trainer. I train with her once a week and she sends me workouts the other days.
Friday: off Saturday: 20 min apple fitness treadmill work out Sunday: 30 min apple fitness strength workout and 5 minutes on stair climber
F: 3 mile run + strength S: 3.5 mile run (was supposed to be 6 miles but it was just too hot and humid and I threw in the towel) S: bopping around on the cargo bike with 80+ pounds of kids
Gotta say, I give mad props to you warm weather folks. This heat is killing my will to workout. Thankfully this week has cooled down a bit.
sadlebred , I saw your metric ride stats on insta this weekend and was so impressed. You're so fast! When I get up to 17/18 mph on my bike I start to feel out of control lol. I can't imagine sustaining that for 100km!
BQ: before long runs I have an everything bagel with cream cheese and after I basically chug a glass of chocolate milk
BQ: Usually for runs less than 8 miles, I will just bring water. For long runs, I do a Gatorade/water mix. I have a hard time with gels, so I usually can only stomach 1 during a marathon. LMNT has been super helpful pre or post run this summer!
scm1011 There were times the first 35 miles I thought I was going to die drafting behind two Colombian Masters guys (Masters=racer over 35--these guys were in their 60s and KILLING US! We have a huge Colombian cycling community, and I swear they were born riding a bike fast!!). Two of us got dropped on a hill and rode most of the rest of the way together. I had to stop at 2 rest stops to refill water and grab a bite to eat, stretch for a minute, etc. We were lucky that it never got above 85 thanks to clouds. It was brutal when the sun came out about half an hour after I finished. (I was at the after ride meal by then!)
