Oh, I wanted that plastic packing/storage thing where you suck out all the air and a king size comforter is shrunk down practically to the size of a deck of cards.
I owned 0 king size comforters, but man did I want to suck the air out of 15 of them and stack them up like bricks in the linen closet I didn't own.
Space Bags!
I got one for Christmas from a weird aunt once. I think she split up a three-pack of them between me and my siblings. I don't think I ever used it, though.
We have an adjustable base bed and it is amazing. It’s a sleep number, not CraftMatic.
I always wanted the Set it and Forget it rotisserie chicken thing. I was gonna eat so many chickens.
We got a rotisserie as a wedding present from a random generous relative. I remember we laughed so hard because it was sent to the wrong apartment and it was a huge ordeal with the post office. When we finally received it we were like “huh, people really buy those?” and took that puppy back to BB&B (RIP)
I was telling MIL one time how often I get rotisserie chickens from the grocery store, because they’re so good and easy. She bought me a rotisserie for Christmas, which defeats the whole easy part!
My husband was obsessed with this pasta maker that was SO stupid, you put the pasta in a tube and added hot water. You still had to heat the water I think so it didn't save time or anything. I threw it out the first chance I got and acted confused when it got "lost".
I think it was called the fasta pasta! We loved that in college 😂
I found it, the Pasta Express! Looks like the one you had was actually helpful since it could go in the microwave.
I actually checked it out from the library via Hoopla a few years ago, but there was no way to turn on captions (I wanted to read along with what I was hearing) and one of the plot lines (about a French princess or something) seemed really sexist and weird. And this was the updated version, so I wonder how cringe the '80s era version was. I think I did three or four lessons and then stopped.
Wow you just unlocked a childhood memory for me! I VIVDLY remember those commercials, except for the name.

I had it growing up with my mom and she used it a lot
We have an adjustable Tempurpedic bed in our room, and I LOVE IT. Loved it so much we bought another one for the guest room. Got the 2nd one from Costco, so if you want one, they have them!
I laughed at the Tanzanite reference. H and I used to watch Jewelry TV when we needed to just zone out and laugh, and their classic line was "ladieesss! Ladies Look at this! Just look at that SPARKLE!" So now when he gets me any sort of jewelry, he always says "Laaaddiiieeees!" as I open it.
I've been mighty tempted to buy some of that flex seal tape stuff. Haven't yet, but I feel my resolve weakening.
As a teen I really thought the RonCo food dehydrator would be life changing. All that beef jerky I could make!!
OMG! This and the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker.
I also really wanted this painting system where you filled a tube with your paint and then it pushed paint thru the roller on the end. It was so pleasing watching people paint in the infomercial. Even at ten, though, I knew cleaning that sucker would not be easy no matter what they claimed.

But . . . but . . . but . . . Just set it and forget it! What could be easier?

My parents and sister are suckers for infomercial stuff! We had a clapper growing up … but not for long. They had one in several rooms but my mom yelled a lot and it would turn the lights on and off. 🤣
My sister roped me into being an audience member for an infomercial. It was BRUTAL. The gadget (some soup maker) didn’t really work so they kept replacing it on stage while the actors pretended it was amazing, lol. We were supposed to get one at the end but it was such a disaster they gave us a juicer instead. I used it once, it had a million parts to clean and I threw it away. Womp womp.
I wanted the thighmaster so bad. Still kind of do.
We had/have a lot of the items mentioned in this thread. Or some version of them. The best was my travel space bags. They had one way valves for rolling the air out- I traveled all over the world and everything was small, contained and waterproof. I use compression packing cubes now, but they don’t compress as much and they don’t protect from spills/weather.

I’m embarrassed to admit I loved that thing that “intabtly” thawed your steak. Here”s a thick piece of metal, run it under hot water and then put your cold thing on it! But need ir worked. I loved that thing. I don’t actually have it anymore but I use my cast iron the same way.
I was so excited in college when we chipped in and bought a clapper.
It really didn't live up to the hype.
our friends had one and lived over a bar right in town. We would drive by and honk twice quickly allll the time and it would turn their lights on/off, lol.

funny RonCo story - My dad used to restore vintage gas pumps and sell them when I was a kid. Ron Popeil bought one - and he came to our house. He wore a fanny pack and it was STUFFED with cash. Like, a 3" stack of cash in that goofy fanny pack. lol
We have adjustable beds (split king) and I hate it as a side sleeper. You’d think it’d be convenient to watch tv or eat in bed, but by the time I’m “up”, it’s moved me so far away from my nightstand that I can’t reach anything. Womp Womp.
This might not be feasible, depends on the type of nightstand you have, but I had the same issue. My husband put little roller wheels on the legs of our nightstands so we could roll them forward. It's worked really well!
When DD was around 8 yo she just loved infomercial stuff and wanted to get all the things. She convinced her grandparents to get Snackeez - a drink & a cup for snacks (all in one). But they got the disposable kind in a pack of 50ish. I was so HAPPY when I finally threw out the last one.

I forgot a few months ago at work we went down the Flobee rabbit hole as someone found one for pets. Spoiler alert...don't ever buy one for pets as they seemed quite dangerous.
I'd be down for an adjustable base bed. I think DH would spring for whatever the latest brand is, but they're just so expensive.
This is a real random throwback, there was an Incredible Sweater Machine that I wanted. I used to watch the infomercial a lot when I stayed up late at night on the weekends. My mom was like "yeah, you can learn to knit gf"
We got one knock off juicer probably 15 years ago, and I think we used it like twice. We also ended up with 3 - 4 Forman or a knock off brand grills between college, DH and I moving in together, and I think one more gift. We don't have any of them anymore.
I forgot about BB&B. We lived almost next door to one, so like everyone else we registered there, then prayed for "20% off" coupon, just to bring the price down to what you should pay.
I forgot that I kind of always wanted a Beadazzler, but then probably wouldn't wear anything I made because I'd look silly. I still use that term for items that have bling.
