Friday: Off, walking around Costco & Home Depot Saturday: 34 mile gravel ride Sunday: 16 mile e-mountain bike ride
BQ: Yes. I try to start biking by 9 am. I had to do some light yard work* today since it has rained every night this week when I wanted to do it. I thought I was going to die. I came in and basked in the AC for about 20 minutes before doing anything else.
*I hire out 95% of my yard work, but I do a few things myself to save $$. Just easy stuff.
Friday: rest, played with some dogs Saturday: easy 3 Sunday: 5 miles. It's almost 5pm and I'm not sure how I'm going to stay awake until at least 8pm. Ugh.
BQ: I am ok with the heat in general, I just wish it was a *wee* bit cooler in the mornings. Because I'm either up super early, or I have to make up routes on big streets so that they are shaded.

Fri: 4 mile walk Sat: 1.5 mile run, 5 mile walk Sun: 60 min elliptical
BQ: yes. I’ve been melting since June. It’s been triple digits every day for at least a month, probably longer. Other than some short walks outside, I haven’t worked out outdoors since the first week of June. And it doesn’t look like I’ll be doing it anytime soon either.
I usually don't have a lot to say re: weekends because Fri is a rest day, and Sat. is a cross training day that usually is pretty informal (e.g. lawn & garden work). But Sun was my 7 mi. long run.
It went pretty well in terms of the actual running, but I died in the heat + humidity. I ran out of water 5 miles in, and walked a brief stretch while I sorted in my head that even without water it was just 2 more miles home and I could do it. I did, and it was ok, but my longest run since 2016 (!) didn't feel like a win, and that is a bummer.
I'm also just tired of feeling hungover all the time. It's not from drinking, it's the dehydration, I just can't seem to stay on top of drinking enough water.
I asked here and on FB as well about hydration vests, and I've pinned a bunch on Pinterest and am borrowing one from a friend today to try. After I try hers I'm going to use any likes/dislikes to help me decide what to order. Hopefully this will get me over this issue.
In the meantime, this AM was 4 miles. I left at 67 degrees/91% humidity, and didn't take water. I had regrets about 2.5 miles in, but finished strong. My avg heart rate was HIGH though for miles 2-4.
