Friday: Off Saturday: 22 mile easy gravel ride. I co-lead an all levels women's gravel ride once/month. Sunday: 38 mile gravel bike ride in the mountains w/plenty of climbing
BQ: Yes, I give up. We had 3 of our hottest days yet this summer with heat indexes upwards of 107F. We didn't quite reach 100F temps, but we were close today. Thankfully, I was in the mountains riding. It's usually 2-3 degrees cooler up there. Keep in mind that the N GA mountains are only at about 2500-3000 feet (minus Brasstown Bald, but you can't pay me to ride up it to the highest point in GA).
Friday: played with dogs Saturday: couldn't stomach the idea of the alarm waking me up for the 12th day in a row. So I slept in and then took the doggy for a nice long walk, since it was much cooler out. Sunday: 5 miles
BQ: the heat forced me back into the gym last week. the sun, even in the car with the AC blasting, made me warm. i'm over it. my dog didn't even want to go outside, which NEVER happens.

Fri: 60 min elliptical Sat: 30 min spin session, 2.5 mile run Sun: 35 min spin, 2.55 mile run
BQ: this is how you know the heat has made me batty - it’s ONLY supposed to be 97 this week and I legit celebrated tonight, lol. It hit 109 ACTUAL temp today 🥵😡 it’s not even comfortable inside anymore. Ughhh.
lilypad1126 That sounds like oppressive heat!!!! laterz My AC broke earlier this week--thankfully it was out for only a day and a half. I sat in the car for relief!
BQ: The heat is killing me. I woke up early for my long run on Saturday and it was already almost 80. Unfortunately, I have no other option because the treadmill is causing heel pain/PF. I’m just hydrating and slowing down.
