Jewish posters: how is your holiday going so far? Mine is going really well. Last night we went to dinner at a friend's and tonight we had a family dinner at home. Both were really fun. Our rabbi gave a really good sermon this morning and services went well. Hopefully Sunday services will go well and then we have the afternoon to relax.
And to all ML folks, I hope you all have a happy, healthy, and joyous new year. May this year bring us all happiness and peace.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus

Shana Tova!
We have had a good holiday so far! We hosted dinner the first night, and all of the food was delicious. We had lunch with friends, and we got home around 6:15 so we all just picked at leftovers. DD1 is reading Torah tomorrow, and then we are hosting lunch. I’m looking forward to it it’s also DD2’s bday tomorrow and she requested I make one of those rainbow cakes from which the sprinkles come pouring out, so I am in the middle of preparing that for her 😜

Shana Tova!
One of the temples I'm trying out streamed their services so I participated in that. nancybotwin sent us some amazing PJ Library books and we are reading 1 a day .
Shanah Tovah to all! I have a question for NYC folks (maybe bronxgirl?). I'm going to be in Manhattan for a few days later this week. Is there anything you'd seek out to do or buy if you were in NCY during yamim nora'im? Random example, I saw some adorable RH cookies on twitter and can't imagine living somewhere with a bakery that does RH themed desserts! So maybe some cute cookies to take home, but I don't know what I'm looking for so just throwing it out for ideas.
ohgillian It’s not holiday related but black & whites are the best cookie and I can’t go to NYC without getting some.
I follow a few Jewish influencers on Instagram and one mentioned a kosher bakery she goes to for special occasions. I’ll go back through her posts and see what it was!

Thanks! My daughter loves black and white cookies so I will make sure to pick one up. We're going to Zabars and I'm betting I can get it there.

You could go to a Jewish bakery and get some rugelach and babka.
