This is really random lol. How do you store the Mice Trap board game? Putting it together was a PITA so I don't want to re-assemble every time we play.

My mom wouldn’t buy Mouse Trap for me, so I wouldn’t know (insert fake crying here). I guess I would try to keep any major parts together that I could and still fit in the box. It would probably involve a gallon baggie.
My random, looking for different snacks for lunches. Looked at the Ritz chips. Too many options. Do we think there is an appreciable difference among Sour Cream and Onion, Cream Cheese and Onion, and Creamy Onion with Sea Salt? I just avoid the whole thing and did salt and vinegar.

We reassemble every time we play. And we never actually play the game, they just set off the traps. 20 minutes of frustration for 20 seconds of entertainment.

Idk the sour cream and onion ones are life. No need to try the others.

It’s nice to see others complain about mouse trap. I loved it as a kid, so I got it for my kids. The pieces just don’t quite fit right so it is incredibly frustrating.
I hid it away just like I did with Operation and Perfection.
I’ll add another horrible game similar to Mouse Trap: Ghost Castle. It takes forever to set up and then it doesn’t work. You are supposed to push down on a chimney which releases a marble and the marble knocks players down, but the marble rarely releases.

Unfortunately ds2 is obsessed with anything “scary” and so regardless of the outcome this is his favorite game.
I will preface this by saying I love my child's confidence, but trying to redo a room with her is maddening. She has VERY SPECIFIC wants, which aren't the easiest in reality. I'm doing my best and offering her things that are actually for sale, but it is definitely a lesson in patience.

Either they must have changed the box for Mouse Trap since I've last played, or y'all are playing wrong. I mean, you build the trap as you play the game. And then you have to take it apart in order to be able to play again, and it's been years since I played, but I never had any trouble fitting all the pieces back in the box when we were done. We just stuck a rubber band around the cards and stuck the cheese pieces in a plastic baggie and then threw everything back in the box, hoping we didn't loose the marble. I think eventually the cage piece got a little cracked, but it still worked.
Now, hungry hungry hippos came with a box that it never fit back into once it was assembled, and that was a game that you did need to assemble to play and it didn't make sense to disassemble ever again, and I was annoyed it didn't have a box to go back into because even though all the marbles fit into the little container on the bottom, I was afraid it would open and we'd loose them all, but still.

This is a random about chip flavors. I was recently in Poland for a work trip, and picked up some snacks in the duty-free shop on the way home. There were Lay's chips with the flavor listed as "Fromage" (which is "cheese" in French, so that in and of itself was surprising, since I was in Poland), but the pictures on the bag made it look like it was sour cream and onion. Because you mentioned Cream Cheese and Onion flavor, now I wonder if that is what the flavor was. (I bought a bag to try, and it definitely was a cheese flavor with onion.)

Yes, if you play the game as written, you assemble as you go. But no kid wants to do that, they just want to make the damn thing catch a mouse.
I think the box must be different now, because it took all my Tetris skills to get the pieces to fit back in.
Speaking of terrifying games - there was one called I Vant to Bite Your Finger. You had to put your finger in the vampires mouth and sometimes he would bite you. But there was also one called Billy Goat. It was scary and it hurt. I found a video and realize my siblings probably wound the rubber band up really tight. It was so scary! We have the original Perfection and my son was so scared of it. LOL Here is a link with the ancient Billy Goat game!
