1) Do your teens have/use phone payment options instead of carrying cash/cards? If so what do they use? Thinking mostly for use at a restaurant or store.
He actually just told me last night that he needs all new pants (they are probably 3 years old and too short). His current joggers are mostly American Eagle, but he does have a few pairs of pants from REI that he likes.
He just set up payment on his phone. I think he did Google pay (we have androids).
1. No. Well I guess she does have $ on her Starbucks app from gift cards. Otherwise she just carries cash or card. She has a chase kid card. I can transfer $ onto it. I’m not too worried if she loses it since it only has a set amount on it. I can easily transfer out $ and cancel it if she lost it. She will put cash or card inside her phone case.
1. Nothing yet besides cash. 2. DS doesn't wear jeans, only athletic pants and joggers. A lot of them are hand me downs from my sister who has boys that are 2 and 5 years older. I shop a lot at Kohls because the Kohls and Target are in our town, and the rest of the clothing shops are a town over. 3. Jerseys, t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, hoodies, athletic shorts and pants/ joggers.

Almost 14 We added one of our credit cards that we rarely use to his Apple Pay. He has to have permission to use it, and we check the transactions when we check his texts and photos.
He prefers dry fit tees, a hoodie sometimes, and athletic pants. He has UA golf pants for dress up needs, mostly choir.
Brand wise - he found some UA & Nikes at one of the big sporting good chains that he likes. I’m going to have him browse the Old Navy sale with me too.
1- - She has a HS checking account from Chase and then has Apple pay on her phone. She never carries the debit card, but almost always has some cash on her.

My son has a greenlight card, i hadn't though of hooking it up to his apple pay, that's a good idea. I find that often the times he needs money, he needs cash lately (sports concessions, etc) which is very annoying

Yes, they both have an account with an app. I live in Brazil, and we use a system called PIX to pay for everything. Essentially pay on the terminal using the app. I don't think my stepson ever carries his bank card.
2) what brand jeans and joggers for teen boys?
I still have decent luck at Old Navy for them when we go back to Canada.
3) What do your teen boys wear to school?
They both have uniforms. But it they didn't, one would wear jeans and a t-shirt and the other athletic shorts and a t-shirt.
1. They use Apple Pay tied to their teen bank accounts.
2. My son never wears jeans and very rarely wears joggers. We have a pretty mild climate here and he wears shorts year round. He wears joggers when we visit relatives who live in cooler climates. We usually go to Kohl's before the trip and he picks out some joggers there.
3. Usually black athletic style shorts, a solid color t shirt, and a hoodie.
1. Samsung Pay, we added him to one of our CC's (he doesn't carry his card) for credit building purposes. He always has some cash on hand, too, it's annoying, but schools are slow to adapt.
2. He would rather chew off his legs than wear jeans or joggers, thankfully it's never that cold here!
3. Athletic shorts and some shade of black/gray/charcoal/dark tee. He will throw a hoodie on if I put my foot down, which I really don't do anymore (he can be cold if he wants to, LOL).

1. No, they just use cash, but this is a good idea. 2. His favorite joggers are from Costco. He doesn't wear jeans. 3. T-shirts (black, navy, gray - his goal is to dress "like a NPC"), athletic shorts or joggers, hoodie if it's cold (which is hardly ever).

We haven’t done Apple Pay yet. But it’s a good idea to link to his Step card instead of one of our credit cards. I need to think on that. The reason I haven’t activated Apple Pay yet is because he every day walks to a Wawa or a fast food chain that are next door to his high school. I really don’t want him having junk every day after school both because it’s not healthy and because we really can’t do $10 a day every day plus all of his weekend activities which include meals out. Etc.
We live in Florida so he wears shorts and a tshirt daily with Nikes, crocs or hey dudes. He wears hybrid shorts from Hollister or others and t-shirts are mostly surf brands like billabong, quicksilver, etc.
