An ugly brown stain. But my house was built in the '70s and the doors and door trim have never been updated. I'm not sure what we'll be do when we get around to updating it.
Except our front door, it's Radish (Sherwin Williams) inside and out.
I really like the look of black interior doors, but I worry about how dusty they might end up looking. We have black nightstands in our bedroom and they are dust magnets.
We have stained birch doors, typical 70s doors. It’s a frequent debate and I love them in all their midcentury originality, H wants to paint them because dated.
I have white trim and interior doors. My walls are colorful. I've never seen black interior doors/trim, but I think it could look sharp. Very modern.
I love black, but I'm not sure I'd do it. It would be a nightmare if you ever want to go back to white (or any other lighter color). I hope you'll share pictures if you go for it.
I love the look of black interior doors. It feels like they got super popular on blogs and stuff within the last decade so I don’t know if they’ll look dated soon, though.
I'm planning to paint my wood doors Chantilly lace, it's the same color I'm in the process of painting all the wood trim. My walls are not white, I have various colors throughout the house. I actually thought about black, but I think white will look better in my case. My doors aren't getting painted for a while, so I may change my mind.
I think black doors with all white walls and trim would look really good. I say give one a try and see how it looks, you can always repaint (or just replace one door) if you hate it. Although going from black to white is probably a challenge. I would also love to see pics if you decide to go with black.

We have black doors with white trim on our main floor, white doors with white trim on the second floor. When we first moved in, the trim on the main floor was all black; it was way too much, which is why we painted the trim white. I like the look of the black doors with white trim, but I will say that the black shows dust so much more than the white doors. But if you’re better than I am about keeping up with dusting, I think black doors can be a good look.

We have BM Simply White doors, the same as our trim.
I think black could be pretty. The only thing is I would wonder about scratches or nicks with black. I also follow a designer who is saying black all over is on its way out. She says unless you have a lot of other black decor, hardware, etc. adding in something black (like windows) will stand out like a sore thumb. I worry black is trendy and not timeless.

I like modern stuff but interior black doors is too much for me.
Our 1950 house has light colored wood doors (maybe maple?).
I do really like the interior doors with glass, like the milky white glass french doors with modern grille bars. Those are awesome. I would totally do main living areas all milky white French doors with black paint..then bonus it's way less to paint if you decide you're over the black.

Our trim and doors are white, but you have multiple dogs now, right? Our dogs get little droplets of water and mud all over the bottom half of all of our doors (and cabinets, that are also white) ALL.THE.TIME. so they never look clean. It's not just when they come in wet (we have a dog door so this is also all the time, but may not be as much of an issue for you), but it's also when they drink water from their bowl, when they play and slobber all over each other, when they eat their kongs and drop them and they splatter pumpkin/pb from them, etc.

We have 3 dogs now, plus two cats. So I’m definitely wondering if black would hold up.
