This is our first Christmas with a dog. I still have 2 Santa believers.
Dog was tiny at Easter and I told them that the Easter Bunny didn't come for dogs, so we made her a basket ourselves. BUT, I think Santa probably DOES come for dogs.

In my house Santa comes for the dog, but my 14 year old picks it since she’s no longer a believer. Even when nobody believes anymore Santa will bring presents for the kids and dog.
I don’t have believers anymore, but when I did, the kids knew I just bought the dog a present. Oftentimes they got to come help pick it out. Small like a new toy like a new ball and a special treat like a filled marrow bone.
Never crossed my mind that she wouldn’t get a gift, lol! Spoiled puppy! I already bought Christmas-themed treats at TJ Maxx to be from St. Nick (or us..pending poll). I didn’t complicate this poll with St Nick but he comes the night of 12/5.
She will probably also get yak chews, a holiday bow or bandana, and maybe a toy.

Dogs get stockings filled by 'Santa' (my kids don't believe anymore) but no wrapped gifts (here, Santa gifts are wrapped, stockings stuff is not wrapped).
Santa Claus comes for people; Santa Paws comes for animals. The dogs know the name Santa Paws 😂. I have a friend whose dog gets St Nicolas Day presents and knows to go get his stocking.
My dog doesn't get a gift? From Santa or us. This thought has literally never crossed my mind lol
Our dogs get gifts from Santa, their grandparents and uncle! They are literally the easiest "people" to shop for and are always thrilled. I recommend it.
Our dog and cats have stockings. Generally they usually get a gift. Our pets are extremely spoiled so they already have tons of toys. Our cats are not huge into toys or treats so some years they don’t get something. Just depends on if I find something I think they’ll like.
My dog loves to unwrap presents so I’ll wrap something up for her. I honestly do not remember what I told dd years ago. I think she has helped pick out gifts before so I think they’ve been from us and not Santa. When she was really little I don’t think I specified and she didn’t ask. Maybe she assumed they were from Santa. I don’t know. I definitely didn’t think about it one way or other on who it should come from.
My mom gets all her grand dogs gifts. Our dog is now almost 15 some years she gets something and sometimes she doesn't. Most of the time DD picks something out for her but now that she is old and doesn't play with toys anymore she may just get a special treat.
