496 running miles. My first thought was "dammit, so close to 500" - but I should use a better frame of reference - because my total for 2022 was probably less than a tenth of that. And I think I only know this because you told me about an app to get, sadlebred !

I don’t really track indoor cycle or eliiliptical, other than time wise. I’m pretty happy with all of this - this was a year with only 1 race (turkey trot), and just trying to stay avtive while I come back from the burnout of running during the pandemic.
I tracked miles doing a variety of things, but my main metric for the year was run miles. I think my 500 miles was pretty respectable generally, but I feel really good about the trend I'm seeing of coming up out of some low mileage years. I'm aiming for a mileage PR in 2024.
2011: 142.48 miles 2012: 118.11 miles 2013: 522.31 miles 2014: 495.63 miles 2015: 13.70 miles (baby born in Nov) 2016: 169.47 miles 2017: 32.59 miles 2018: 18.70 miles 2019: 9.83 miles (baby born in June) 2020: 23.48 miles 2021: 212.95 miles 2022: 295.95 miles 2023: 500.30 miles
I’ve just tallied it up. In 2023, I ran 203.45 mi, biked 837.64 mi, swam 150 laps, walked 25.5 mi, hiked 7 miles, lifted 20 times, did yoga 7 times; one offs were badminton, kayaking, and I think we skied once. This has been my least active year in probably a decade, on account of work, being busy AF, and being sick a few times (a couple of URIs plus covid). I did get a half marathon in there, though it was not my best by far.
