Has anyone gotten this for a party before, and how was it? I’m debating if it would be better to just order big pans of plain mac & cheese, or if doing the bar with the extra toppings is worthwhile for a party. (Family party, adults and kids; we would do fruit salad, other salad, snacks, and probably subs as well, and cake/desserts)
I love a good Mac and cheese and so do my kids! I don’t need toppings and I don’t eat bacon, so I don’t think you need the topping bar. Especially since you’ll have other food and sides. Although DD2 would be in heaven and probably eat only bacon LOL.
LOL. My kids LOVE mac & cheese. I thought people may have tried the bar. I think it comes with 2 proteins, various veggie toppings, and 2 sauces. I'll have to report back if we do try it.
If the mac n cheese was the main, I’d probably try the bar. If it’s going to be a side (which it sounds like it will be if you’re also getting sub sandwiches?) I’d skip the bar.
I went to a party where the bar was the main dish for the kids. People seemed to like it! It was a little messy but some of the kids were pretty little and dishing themselves up.
We are going to get noodles catering for my DD1’s graduation party next week. I am also considering the Mac and cheese bar to go with the other pans of stuff. If we go with it I’ll have more thoughts on it next weekend. Haha.
We have Noodles cater for work probably twice a year. The mac & cheese is always well received. I really like their pesto cavatappi. We get the Parmesan crusted chicken as a protein. They are very easy to work with and I think a fairly good value these days. I’m not sure the difference between the bar and their regular catering options.

Can you compare the pricing for us
I feel like I would only get so excited by mac n cheese. As far as toppings...buffalo chicken would be amazing, not sure what else I would do
Having looked at their pricing....I think the price oer person's similar to if you order separate entrees for each person. So I don't see the value in it...and I don't see people eating that big of a portion. So definitely keep that in mind when ordering
