I have the driest skin. I have to put lotion on immediately after washing my hands or they feel like they’re cracking. I also hate touching things with that dry skin. I have lotion at every sink in the house, at my desk at work, and in my purse.
This is me. I always have lotion with me.
When I was a kid, I had huge patches super pale skin and would get red, itchy, and generally worse in the winter. It took a few years to figure it out (they first though it could be fungal, some viral skin disease, etc.), but my doctor finally referred us to a dermatologist and I just had such bad dry skin that it was inflamed and essentially stopped producing pigment. For 4 months, I had to put a hydrocortisone cream on every single time my skin got wet (fun times at the local pool in the summer), and I used the super thick cetaphil cream on my entire body once a day after I showered. After a few years, I downgraded to regular cetaphil lotion and have been using that for the last 20ish years. So yes, I have to lotion my body daily. It's annoying and I hate it.
I said SS. I use it daily in the winter - and I know this is probably bad but I rarely use it the rest of the year. Basically if my skin doesn’t feel dry I don’t use body lotion.
I said yes but it's mainly hand lotion - especially this time of the year. My legs do get dry but not as much and I cover them up with pants. I'm better about using it on my legs in the warmer months.
Since we got a bigger humidifier on our lower level (we've always had them in the bedrooms) I find my skin is significantly less dry.
I have started doing daily body lotion, and now I really notice a difference if I don't use it. I used to just do my face, and then at night, my feet. My feet are always very dry and sometimes I can't sleep if I don't moisturize them, so putting on lotion/aquaphor and then socks has been a part of my routine for years.
I use hand moisturizer at bedtime daily and have for like ever. I moisturize my shoulders after every bath or shower (with AmLactin to prevent those little KP bumps) and I moisturize my legs after I shave (so like monthly in winter lol).

I use hand lotion most days, but almost never body lotion. I just forget or don't prioritize the few minutes it takes. I also hate putting on jeans after lotion.
literally can't wrap my brain around how many people are only moisturizing their faces. See how nice your face skin looks? That could be your whole body. MOISTURIZE.
We have CeraVe all over our house. Possibly more than boxes of Kleenex. Kitchen, car, every bathroom, kids have it on their desks, N keeps some in her backpack. Daily moisturizer in warmer months, thicker body cream for winter.
My entire body, every day, or at least after every shower. I have a friend who sometimes showers twice and a day and doesn't moisturize. I told her my skin would rebel! It would be a crackly, itchy mess!
I do like in-shower lotion. So quick and easy. I use it less in summer, as I want to apply lotion/sunscreen.
Yes. Head to toe. Every day. I add a body oil in winter too.
Sometimes I even reapply to my legs and arms at night.
I'm cuckoo for being properly moisturized and ash-free.
yeah, I am not able to relate to people who do not need lotion regularly. Daily face lotion, morning and night. Lotion after every shower (daily) and in the winter, said lotion is replaced with oil (likewise on my face I use oil in the winter). Hand lotion throughout the day, far too many times to count.
For hand lotion I can only use one kind: Vaseline intensive care aloe scent.
Just so you know, non-lotioners, we can tell. Even you fellow Caucasians.
Once you're in the lotion club, you have special ability to detect dry elbows at 300 yards. My poor kids have me following them around with lotion and sunscreen ranting about how "you'll thank me one day!" Like the paper boy in Better Off Dead.
I do! I put it on my legs, arms, and torso every day after showering, unless I'm in a hurry and feel like I need to skip something for time. I also do face lotion twice a day. And my heels tend to crack if I don't keep up with lotion on them, so I do a body butter most nights before bed.
My hands are dry right now - that's the one I struggle with consistency on because I wash my hands probably 25+ times a day so I feel like I'm just washing it off soon anyway. But this time of year I probably need to just apply lotion a bunch of times a day.

Yes. When I lived in the Seattle area, it was very rare and mostly just if I thought it smelled good.
Now that I'm in Arkansas and it gets so dry in the winter, I use a lot of body lotion. Every day I do at least my legs and feet after the shower and right before bed. If other areas seem especially dry, I'll do those on ad-hoc.

trust, that's the last thing you notice and judge me for I have the long list of ml judgment problems. Lack of lotion when I live in 85% humidity year round is low on the list. Wanna braid my armpit hair? My tank top will give easy access.

It's your body's largest organ! Treat it with respect!
I'm inconsistent, so I have oil next to the shower and body butter on my nightstand but there are definitely times I hop out of the shower and don't. I'm more aggressive about it in the summer when my skin actually shows but my skin isn't particularly dry in general.
