As a spin off from the body lotion thread, I've been wanting a new one and would love recommendations for your favorites!
I have favorites for facial skin care and hand cream, but haven't found a holy grail product for all over body lotion yet. I am way better about full body moisturizing when I have a product that I love and what I have now is not cutting it for me. It's like it's not slippery enough, so it's a pain in the ass to do all over my body.
Body Shop Body Butter. They used to have a milk & honey scent that was my favorite but they seem to have discontinued it so my 2nd favorite is Satsuma.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Hydrating Body Moisturizer ; it really is the best! Nordstrom puts it on sale during their anniversary sale and the jumbo size lasts me nearly a full year. I love it. If I'm out, I use Lubriderm.
I am not a big lotion user. However... the balm I bought from mala's shop is awesome. It just melts into my skin and smells great (cardamom! such an underrated flavor/scent)
If you have a Trader Joe’s, their coconut body butter is the best. Liquid-y lotions that come out of a pump do nothing for me, and this body butter absorbs the fastest for me.
I also will always love the Neutrogena sesame body oil. It smells sooo good.
In the winter I use CJs Butter - it's technically a cloth diaper safe diaper cream, but it works wonderfully on the skin. It's greasy when you put it on, but it soaks in fast.
The drunk elephant TLC framboise body lotion is the only lotion that made a noticeable change in the quality of my skin texture. It's pricey, so I mix it with cheaper lotion to make it last longer. For scent, I love the EOS Cashmere vanilla. It's thick, the smell lasts and carries (that could be a positive or a negative depending on your preference), and it moisturizes well.
I’ve mentioned this here before, but I really like the Nivea In-Shower body lotion. I really feel like it locks in moisture and I like that it doesn’t feel like an extra step.
I just pat to dry after my shower, and haven’t noticed any build up on my towels (that came up last time).
I like Palmer's cocoa butter lotion in the pump bottle for daily use, it smells amazing
DS uses CeraVe SA Lotion for Rough & Bumpy Skin for KP and he haaaaates it. I finally tried it and I get why, it leaves this nasty oily feeling behind. Does anyone have a better suggestion?

Yes! I love it! This is the only thing I actually like and feels like works. I normally hate lotion. I hate drying after the shower, taking time to put it on and then waiting until it dries to get dressed. I love the Nivea is so quick and easy in shower and it feels like it locks so much more moisture in than anything else! Just be careful getting any on the shower floor! It can be slippery.
Otherwise I have the Kiehls mentioned up above. I feel like that is the least greasy/quickest drying of regular lotion.
Hempz is my favorite bc it absorbs so quickly and isn’t greasy. It is very heavily scented though. There are tons of choices (including unscented). I don’t like sweet scents very much (most of the scents are sweet) but I’ve managed to find ones I like. It’s pretty pricey for a basic lotion but I always see them at TJM and Marshall’s for about half price.
I absolutely love and routinely use Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream. I used to try different things, but once I began using this, I stuck with it.
It's super smooth and silky, so easy to apply, and I find it truly makes my skin nice and soft.
My derm says Cetaphil for very dry skin (in the tub at Costco) or Vanicream would be her top picks for me. CeraVe is a good choice as well. When things get really dry, she writes me a script for ammonium lactate.
We use Aveeno and Cerave (tub) in our house. I live in the dry, cold northeast so we need heavy creams. They are both sticky but I put it on after I shower at night so it doesn’t bug me that much.

Use glycolic acid toner on the KP skin. It works so much better.
