We're going out to brunch but I'm going to cook anyway because Easter meals are my favorite to make. Leeks! Salads! Coconut! Ham! Cheese! Eggs! Sugar cookies! What could be bad?

I am hosting 13 people. It's also DS2's birthday. I am making: mushroom / spinach / goat cheese egg bake sausage / cheddar / hashbrown egg bake a pile of bacon red velvet cupcakes
Family members are bringing fruit and hot cross buns.
I feel like I need something else, but I don't know what.

My SIL hosts, and pretty much every holiday I'm asked to bring a Charcuterie because I guess mine are cute LOL Like last year my Easter charcuterie was in the shape of a bunny and this year I'm doing it to look like a bouquet of flowers.

I have not yet thought about the food, except to get white eggs. However, it seems Paas is no more? We'll be using food coloring, instead. I'm guessing DH will do a ham.
Just the four of us which is totally fine, since we just had my family in town this past weekend, and hosted H's family earlier in the month. I'm planning on:
Ham Au Gratin Potatoes (from a box lol) Green Beans Apple Salad Deviled Eggs Angel Food Cake with Peanut Butter Icing
I am hosting 10 people. I am making traditional Easter dinner: ham, ham gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, brussel sprouts, and rolls. I also make a bunny cake every Easter. One set of aunt/uncle is bringing sweet potato casserole (with nuts, not marshmallows) and the other set is bringing a bday dessert as it’s also their son’s 19th birthday.
I used to hate ham but now I look forward to having it. The gravy really perfects it!
ETA: DDs are currently home dyeing the eggs I hard boiled last night.

Maybe another sweet thing? Monkey bread, or lemon bars?

oooh monkey bread would be delish and easy. I have some frozen pizza dough...
We’re making crab cakes, potato salad, asparagus (?), deviled eggs and I ordered a lamb coconut cake from the old school bakery.
I think we might make some chocolate/coconut Easter eggs. Neither of us have before but I thought it might be fun? I think I already have all the ingredients needed.

Wut.
A cake shaped like a lamb? It’s a very common Easter dessert.
Oh a want a coconut cake so bad. My dads birthday was always right around Easter, and my grandma always made a coconut cake. I might have to dig out that recipe.
Ham, sweet potato casserole, cheesy potatoes, green beans and almonds, Hawaiian rolls, and carrot cake cups (they're like mini trifles in small mason jars).
I think that's it, I feel like there should be more but that's dumb, it's 7 people that should be fine.
ETA oh yeah, deviled eggs! And I've been thinking about a salad. I'm a Midwest transplant, and nobody in this family appreciates salad. They just want lettuce, croutons and Caesar dressing. Whenever I make a seasonal salad no one eats it but I want it so we'll see

We’re not hosting, but I am helping my mom. I’ve been tasked with rolls, deviled eggs, and a sweet potato casserole I made at Thanksgiving that wasn’t so much a recipe as what my heart told me was right (more butter, more brown sugar, more cream, more pecans).
No dessert was requested, but my MIL always brings the *worst* Rice Krispie treats, so I think I might make something like an angel food cake with fruit or a lemon Bundt.

I don’t really care for ham so every year our menu is bbq…pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans. It is so good. My parents host, but I will make dessert (banana pudding and maybe brownies or a cake).I love carrot cake and every year I say I’m going to make one and o never do.

Just finalized the menu with DH Yeast Rolls Deviled Eggs Charcuterie Roasted Artichoke Salad Spring Strawberry Salad Lamb Lollipops w/Garlic & Rosemary Maple Glazed Ham Pizzagaina Roasted Brussels Sprouts Cheese Herb Potato Gratin Roasted Vegetable Platter Mini Braised Potatoes Carrot Cake Butterscotch Brownies
I definitely am craving coconut cake, I think with lemon curd. I've never attempted a lamb mold, shaped cakes are always 50/50 on if they stick for me.
I just bought ingredients for most things in this thread, so thank you, 😂.
