I didn’t feel it (I was in a class at my gym doing single leg hip bridges and I was disassociating from my body bc it hurt so much and class had already run 5 minutes over). I also didn’t feel the aftershock an hour ago even though I was sitting on my couch doing nothing. I’m a little bummed!
I've felt a few here in GA (obviously. not this one). It's a bit odd. Here is why more people on the East Coast feel earthquakes than on the west coast and why WC tend to be worse.
My mom was standing at the kitchen sink when the first one happened and said she thought she was having a stroke. That has to be super scary! Then she saw the water in the drinking glasses swaying and heard the announcers on the TV saying "Breaking news! Earthquake!" That's when she realized it wasn't her.
The TV is always on at their house even if no one is watching. The noise drives me insane. For once I guess it was useful.
