I'm looking for a new travel bag-- not necessarily a weekender; more of a carry on. Looking for: Tote Can have a cross body strap-- not necessary Not leather Several pockets-- not just a shopping bad Some structure to the material
I have a couple Lands End totes but they aren't exactly what I want for this bag (one is too big; one is too old; one is my dedicated work bag)

I really like Lo & Sons Catalina series - I have their larger weekender bag plus their smaller day tote. The fabric is more casual but checks all the boxes.
Rareform has many options to choose from and they're environmentally friendly. I love all my Rareform bags. I use the Blake tote for my work bag. It's been great.

Go to TJ Maxx. They always have so much in their bag section! They often have Baggalini and Kipling… and some kind of travel brand… All of which I really like for travel stuff because they are lightweight and have a lot of pockets.
Last time I was there, before our trip, they also had a ton of different belt bags. All different brands, sizes, colors, and some of those were pretty tempting also.

I know this is old-- but thanks for this recommendation. This is a perfect carry-on/overnight bag for non-winter trips. I've been doing a ton of smaller trips to NY lately and this bag is absolutely perfect (I went with the Catalina Deluxe Tote). Thanks!
