keyslover , Team top loader, no agitator for life! I know some people think no agitator means your clothes don't get clean but that hasn't been our experience and I love it for larger items like blankets.
I agree.
I hated my front loader from day 1. I may have cried tears of joy when that thing took a shit and I went back to a top loader.
Ugh, DS seems so sad and miserable and is refusing to try any of the two chewable meds I have b/c he gagged on the one this morning and threw up a little. I have some cool washcloths on his head and back and he's managing, dozing on and off on the couch, but it sucks to see him like this when some Motrin or Tylenol would probably perk him right up and make him less miserable. You can't reason with a 7 year old. I tried bribing him with a Popsicle after but that didn't do it. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears!

Awww it is so hard to see kids sick and miserable, especially high fevers. Will he take liquid? My 9 year old still takes the liquid meds. It is also easier to mix with something that tastes good if he doesn't like the flavor.

Can you crush it and mix it into chocolate pudding? Chocolate pudding really does well to mask most flavors. I may or may not know this because I'm a 40 something year old woman who still can't swallow a pill.
beerlover, There's a version of Tylenol that's like a pixy stick, it's just powder in a little tube that they eat. My kids are much happier to take that vs. all the others. But it can be tricky to find sometimes.

Does he have a zofran prescription? Our kids' doctor will often prescribe it along with medication so they can keep it down.
noodleoo, Roc A Bee, I'll offer to get him liquid when DH gets home (I asked him which kind he wanted and he said chewable which is why we went with that originally). Maybe I could mix it the Gatorade flavor he likes.. vom.
bbdoll, he is a strange one that doesn't like chocolate pudding!
bears, he does not have a Zofran prescription. I wasn't going to take him to the doctor today because I figured it would be useless.

I hate home ownership. A couple of weeks ago I said to MH that I heard a dripping sound in the dining room. We couldn't find anything. On Monday we found it and it's gotten worse, the second the shower is on it drips thru the ceiling. A plumber came out last night and it's the flange and he opened up the ceiling so the water will drip into a bucket until he can fix it on Saturday or Sunday, but there is all kinds of mold in the area he opened because apparently it's been leaking for a long time. So now once we fix the flange we need to start removing the ceiling the see how much its spread.
I manage a generic email for work (like "us@company.com"). It's not my primary email, but when I send emails from it, the "from" line shows as my name. We also use this generic email for account logins, such as our webinar software.
Two years ago, someone who coordinated maybe two webinars a year insisted that I HAD to share my username/password for the generic email address because the webinar software sometimes asks for two-factor authentication and the authentication emails go to my email.
It was a little weird, but I shared it and didn't really think about it again. He is no longer in the same position and theoretically shouldn't be using the webinar account anymore.
Last week, he randomly started logging into the email and RESPONDING TO EMAILS THAT WERE SENT TO ME. One email had absolutely nothing at all to do with him, AND I'd already responded. My primary email was also copied, so I was super confused when I received an email "From" me, that I know I didn't write. Another email did relate to him, but again I'd already responded and he basically just repeated what I'd already sent.
Then just yesterday I saw that he responded to ANOTHER email from this in-box. This email HAD ALSO COPIED HIS ACTUAL EMAIL ADDRESS. So WHYYYYY didn't he just use his own goddamn email?
I am in a weird contract position and the dynamics are such that there is no one really to complain to. So I'm just complaining here and then I will try to let it go.
I did go in and delete the entire inbox so he knows that I'm in there. And in the future I will delete every message as soon as I respond to it. JFC.

Oh this would annoy me. We have an office email that several people have access too including my boss. Everything in there needs to be processed by staff before my boss gets it. So i will have handled something and she will respond days later. Or she will forward me messages asking if i saw it. Ughh leave it alone! When we get a new boss, they will not have access.
