Baked potato and chili is my standing Wendy’s order. They definitely do still have bacon and cheese, but I think the broccoli might be gone.
This was mine too, in college at least! I don't really go Wendy's anymore but now I kind of want to.
This thread is making me want Taco Bell. And the last time I went to Taco Bell for nostalgia, I had regrets (and I know this because it was like 5 years ago +/- a week, and I posted my regrets on FB and it came up in a memory).

I used to really like Sobe "water". When it first came out it was manufactured at Miller Beer and since my dad worked for Miller he used to bring cases of it home.
I love the Jell-O pudding pops! They were the best! Everybody knew that. And it’s so funny that multiple people also noted the thin layer of ice that would form. . I totally remember that as well! Why were they taken off the market, never to return? Do they secretly contain some kind of horrible carcinogen or something?
This isn’t really a food exactly, but I totally miss the experience of 1980s Pizza Hut. It was not that expensive, but totally cozy, and ours even had a fireplace inside. It was so fun to go with family or friends, and drink the sodas from the red plastic cups, Blow the straw wrappers at each other, and maybe play the one Pac-Man arcade game, if we were lucky.
I remember having a Mc DLT, because I was so intrigued by the concept at the time!

We should meet up there lol. I haven't had Taco Bell in over 10 years, which I only know because my H HATES Taco Bell and fast food is not something I generally get on my own so I don't think I've had it since I met him.
Though I found out the other day that he only had it once in his life, so it's possible he just got the wrong thing. I don't think I can convince him to give it another try.
Speaking of which there was a really good burrito there - I think the grilled stuffed burrito? I believe they discontinued that but that and/or a chicken quesadilla was my go-to order for years.
I never went to Taco Bell much, but my DH talks about how it was so, so much better when he was in high school than it is now.
The last time I got it was on a road trip, it was very underwhelming, one of my items was cold in the middle, and I’m pretty sure I got (mild) food poisoning from eating it!

Oh, the Snapple element drinks in the big glass bottles just perked up in my brain! My mom and I would walk to the gas station together and buy bottles of Rain. So good!
I was pretty sheltered/poor growing up so very rarely ate any kind of fast food, and most prepackaged snacks were a no, too. Except the tastycakes. I can confirm that today's butterscotch krimpets don't taste like I remember, but maybe that's bc I have access to more/better options now.
I worked at a coffee shop in high school that sold Orangina. I thought it was the fanciest drink I'd ever had in my life and drank so much of it in my time there.
Do you all remember Ground Round and making kids weigh themselves to pay by the pound? WTF was that?
Oh pudding pops! Those were the best treat in elementary school!! I might try to make them this weekend, too!
H and I both reminisce about Po' Folks - I grew up in SC, and he grow up in MO, but we both remember it and loved it.
In college, Zaxby's had a Chicken Parm sandwich that I loved! There aren't any Zaxby's near me now, but the one time I visited while traveling a few years ago I didn't see it on the menu.
More recently, Taco Bell's 7-layer Burrito. It was a favorite and so filling! I know they have a fiesta veggie burrito now, but it's not the same.

I loved OK soda, lol. They had a 1 - 800 - I Feel Ok number you could call for a short time for one weird daily message.
I loved Snapple Kiwi Strawberry
Olive Garden was amazing growing up. We'd drive about 30 minutes (far for us) to wait over an hour. Now it all tastes like it was pre-made and heated up in a microwave
Welch’s strawberry soda Banana berry split gum Sara Lee cheese danishes Magic middle cookies Ding dongs in the foil wrappers Long John Silver’s crunchies Gobstoppers
Agree with others on pudding pops. I can visualize the layer of ice perfectly. 80s/90s Pizza Hut couldn’t be beat.

Long John Silver's crunchies are still available. I just got my kids a box to share last week. They adore them.

The loss of Arby's potato cakes has been hard. Last time I went their beef and cheddar was $8 so I've mostly gotten over it.
I loved Chili's chicken crispers and would always try to go to chili's on vacation but those are gone so now I can go to better restaurants.
I love Diet Lemon Snapple, but it is very hard to find. Diet Peach is everywhere but I don't like it so if I ever find Diet Lemon at a gas station I buy several and then get annoyed with myself for spending so much.

The chicken crispers was the only thing I liked at Chili's, so I no longer go there. It was a shame.
Wait chicken crispers are gone now, too?? That’s rude.
I still miss Bennigan’s. Food wasn’t great but good times there. Was one of the only places open late when I was in high school so we could go after work or football games. Related I miss being able to eat mozzarella sticks and potato skins for dinner and feel perfectly fine.

Also the Cheddar Bo biscuit at Bojangles. Some Bojangles still have them, but maybe only like 25%, so there’s a lot of hunting around and ending up disappointed.

Kiwi Strawberry and Mango Madness were the ONLY acceptable Snapple flavors

That Jason Alexander commercial is something else!! And now we have cracked our musical commercials for diabetes medication… 🤦🏻♀️
My high school had this salad bar and baked potato and pasta bar. The food was always fresh and the toppings were incredible. I never find anything like that anywhere nowadays. And that was my rural Ohio high school…
Remember the crackers with the little red stick that spread the cheese? I loved those. I would probably think it was absolutely revolting today, but it gave me a lifelong love of real cheese and crackers.
They still have these in my grocery store - I remember a little while back I bought some for DS for lunches. He…did not like them, so I ended up eating them. Same with Twinkies - I bought him some as a lunch treat once and he didn’t like those either, so guess who ate their way through a box of Twinkies…
I bought a box of these last week. They have taken the red stick out though. Such a bummer!

I’m sure ours still have the red stick. I’ll report back after I get groceries on Friday.

Oh yeah, I loved Bennigans potato soup! Apparently there are still a few Midwestern and international locations open, but sadly this isn't me.
I remembered another one - I used to love Ruby Tuesday's chocolate tall cake. I would go there just for that.
