My current obsession is finding the best chocolate protein powder.
I used to be underweight (like 107lbs) and in the past year, I've gained about 7-8 lbs and I'm okay with it. I swear it's kept me from not getting sick all year!

Now that they have pre wrapped cones I can “roll” a joint for the first time in my life.
My mom gets so verklempt when I tell her the world keeps evolving to meet my needs as a cannabis user whenever she gets surprised at the ease of buying/etc. “rewards points? Preorders?!”
There is a lot of Prom drama in my house today. (Prom is tonight.). A lot of friendship hurts coming out. Changes of plan for before photos and after prom.

Oh @livinitup I'm so sorry.
I'm still kinda bitter at a kid from high school who screwed my friend group out of our limo the week of prom. He said the reservation fell through, but we later saw him walking in on the prom video with his date. Turns out he wanted to impress her and somehow had enough money ey to pay for the whole thing on his own. That would have been OK if he told us 2 months in advance!
My random is I don't really like tacos. This makes my DH sad for many reasons, including a missed easy meal.
Bad Dingo I have a friend who prefers boxed potatoes to fresh too. Meanwhile I can always take or leave mashed potatoes. Honestly I'm a food nightmare, lol
Are graduation banners a thing in your communities? They’re huge here with senior pics and indicating where kids are going to college or military service (and I saw one last night for a guy joining the local steelworkers Union.)
I love grad banner season!
I like to walk around the neighborhood and see duplicates of colleges and envision those kids carpooling home at thanksgiving 🤣

Our town started doing these a few years ago. I think they're cool!

Why does some grown ass adult spill their drink every week at gymnastics?
Every week there is a flood of iced coffee all over the rug. Stop putting it in the folding chair next to you. Stop putting it by the leg of your chair. Just hold it and drink it.
And for the love of all stop spilling it on the baby in the bucket seat on the floor.
My family also like fake mashed potatoes over real mashed potatoes. I think they are monsters! lol
Oldest kid decided to live in hometown with the grandmas this summer instead of coming home and I am not sure how I feel about it. I know they will get to a point where they are never home because they are 19 and becoming an adult, but I will miss them. We also don't want them here if they will be unhappy and then make everyone else unhappy. Plus, I like having their help with the resort. Ds claims he is going to step up and start helping, but I'm not holding my breath.

Why do people have to comment on their opinions on WFH and if they would like it or not when you mention that you WFH part of the week, or full time? No Janice, I really didn't wonder if you'd enjoy it. Also just because you wouldn't like it doesn't mean it doesn't work for others. Attitudes like that are part of why WFH isn't more universal.
I have another neighbor who walks three small dogs who do not appear to be particularly old or unhealthy, but my small dog and I can walk around an entire block in the time it takes them to walk past three houses.
I like instant potatoes better than fresh mashed potatoes.
I suggested to DH to try using chicken bone broth instead of water for instant potatoes. It was marginal at best. Too meaty.
I hate it when people use broth to make mashed potatoes. I want mashed potatoes to taste like.potatoes, not chicken broth.
Agreed. Any broth. My husband adds garlic and parmesean. My mother had the audacity to say they're a little too garlicky. Woman, you are a good cook but use like a whole goddamned can of evaporated milk in your mashed potatoes. They taste like 1958 and the inside of a can.

My classmates may drive me crazy. They’re asking what to pack, what’s the weather like, and what time zone it is there. First of all google. Second, we leave in less than 24 hours, get it together.
I wash my belly button like any responsible adult.
But as it’s now becoming less-innie on its way (I assume) to becoming an outie, I’m discovering it’s so. much. deeper than I ever realized (or could ever reach in normal times). There’s like prehistoric fossils finally cleaned out that I can only assume have been there since I, myself, was born.
Learning how to drive on a car with backup cameras is dangerous. They can break. Get covered up by leaves. Not be available. I don't have them on my car and we will cover them up on my husband's car when we teach L. You need to understand how to turn your head and look and adjust for how you turn the wheel when reversing.
I was Instagram influenced to get Bronox brand cloud recovery slides from Amazon. They are practically the single best thing I've ever bought myself. My knees and feet are so happy.
My husband thinks that cats that have all one color fur are boring to look at. I find this opinion to he hilarious. Boring? Lol.

I am slightly obsessed with the Fresh Express avocado caesar salad kit. The dressing is my new favorite and I haven't been able to find it or anything similar in a bottle, so I'm stuck buying the kit whenever I want it. Which is at least once a week.
I'm over the rain, especially on the weekends. It's such a bummer. The weekend weather has been so consistently more-yuck than the rest of the week that WaPo even wrote about it recently.
My random is I don't really like tacos. This makes my DH sad for many reasons, including a missed easy meal.
I always think tacos is an easy meal until I have to prep the toppings and then figure out what to do with the leftover toppings and tortillas before they go bad/stale. So I say no one is missing out as long as takeout is an option.

Growing up my mother always made the boxed mashed potatoes. She made real mashed potatoes one time and my brother who was little asked if company was coming.🤣
In the past few years, my brain has started to introduce a handful of flavor experiences into my dreams. It started with mint. Then I got lemon and raspberry. Last night, it gave me the most buttery garlic bread. It was amazing, and now I'm going to have to come up with a meal plan this week that includes garlic bread for real, because now I really want some.
My brain however did not see fit to give me chocolate. There were chocolate chunk cookies in the bizarre, food themed dream last night, and I couldn't taste them at all.
I'm not entirely sure if it's more weird that I can taste (some) things now in dreams, or that I couldn't taste things before. It seems like every so often my brain gets a dreaming expansion pack, and this is the last set of DLC.
Nonny for my entire life, I could never swim in dreams. Like I’d be going to the lake, but something would always come up and I couldn’t get there. Or I’d go to the pool, but as soon as I climbed in, all the water would vanish.
Just in the last year or two, I can finally swim in my dreams. Glad I finally got that expansion pack.
I wanted to eat at a food hall in a town about 1.5 hours away so I planned an entire day of activities in that town so I could eat there. It was worth it.
