what is your hunger situation afterwards?
I am starving to the point of being shaky immediately after class, but if I wait a little while it just goes away and then I am not very hungry at all. It's hard for me to even find something that I want to eat.

No, not typically. I usually pound down an insane amount of water during my workouts and then still feel as if I could drink a gallon more. I workout in the mornings-when do you workout?
Hm. Well, I always eat before I work out, especially in the morning. I have a stomach of steel, so I can eat whatever. After, I usually just wait until the next meal. So, if I get home from the gym at 11, I eat lunch at about 1. I'm not ravenous or anything, but I have no problem eating. This probably wasn't helpful, I'm sorry.

Yeah, I always eat or drink some sort of protein after I work out (cardio and strength training). Maybe my body is just conditioned now to expect the protein, so it doesn't get ravenous wondering? A non-scientific thought...

Are you eating something with protein 30 minutes to one hour before your class? You should be. Your body needs fuel before a spin class. I always have a Luna bar or a protein shake before class.
If I do my full intended 70 minute workout, I have to eat an hour later. Today I put it off a little too long and I felt like I was going mad! I eat light in the morning, smoothie for mid afternoon snack and after my cardio, I need about 200-400 calories, depending on my hunger levels.
