I remember when those days came up in college and the news traveled fast of "don't answer your phone" b/c everyone knows what's up when the athletics office asks you to come in.

LOL. I remember getting pulled from class for random drug testing that all HS athletes were subject to. I really had to pee so I asked if we could swing by the restroom first. They fumbled around and then said, they were not supposed to tell me but it was a drug test that I was pulled for so I'd need the pee. I laughed so hard. The time before I got pulled from.class to be told about a big deal scholarship so it was the opposite of what I was expecting.
I really think we would lose a large majority of our work force if we did random drug tests. My boss refuses to even fire people for drugs. He gives them 30 days and retests them (and lets them continue working in the meantime.)

If the person that tested positive hurts another employee the company could have HUGE liability problems.
I loved random drug test day because only half my staff would show up. I ended up having to change the days up.
