Adeline (with a long i)? Or Adelyn/Adalyn (short i)?
But here is the thing...I am not a fan of the nn Addie. It isn't terrible by any means, but my fear is that people, or even DD2, may call her/herself that.
I'm liking Adeline Grace right now...but give it to me straight ladies!

I really love Adeline and Grace goes with it beautifully. I don't love the short-I version as much.
My DD's name has a fairly common nickname that I don't like, but no one has tried to call her that. Sometimes people ask if we are using it, but we just say no and it's no big deal. It's possible she'll choose to use it at some point and that would not be the end of the world. Right now it seems unlikely -- she's nearly 4 and very certain of all of her syllables, as only 3/4-year-olds can be.

I love Adeline, much more than Adalyn. I agree that people will call her Addy, but maybe less so if you always call her Adeline. My friend named her DD Penelope and you'd think people would call her Penny, but since her parents always call her Penelope, that's what other people call her.
I am kind of predisposed to not like the name, (because I know someone with the name who is not a pleasant child to be around at all), but feelings for the child aside, I prefer Adeline to any other spelling/pronunciation.
I kind of like Addie, and I think it goes better with Lily than Adeline does. Adeline seems kind of formal compared to Lily.
I LOVE IT!!! Like seriously love it, not just saying to be nice. My old boyfriend (who I thought I was going to marry...HA!)...well his name was Adam and mine is Jacqueline. Put them together and we thought we'd have an Adeline someday. I love that name so much, but there's no way I can use it with the history behind it for me. I wish I could though! Oh, and I love Grace too...our little ones is Audra Grade.
I dislike Adalyn, but it's a bias because my 18 year old cousin just named her kid this (there is a long background to why I don't like said cousin, so really, she could have named her a name I loved and I would hate it). I do like Adeline though. I think you will have issues with getting people to not call her Addie/Addy though.

My 4 year old goddaughter is Adalynn. They call her Lynnie. It is NMS, but not terrible. It is getting really popular though (I'd never heard it 4 years ago and I hear it all the time now).
Adeline is my preferred spelling. This one comes in SO many variations, though, it would drive me batty to have to spell it out for people so much, let alone deal with all the "Did you say Madeline?" confusion.
I really don't dislike the name at all- it's sweet! I do run into an awful lot of Addies and Maddies these days, though- it will be a challenge to keep that shortening away.
I love Adeline - we altered it a bit for my DD middle name to Adelina (spanish pronunciation). Adeline was my grandmothers and great-great grandmothers middle name so we wanted to keep it going.

I prefer the Adeline spelling, but I think it goes great with Grace. As for nicknames, you may have to get used to Addie someday, whose to say that won't be her preference? My name is Brittany, my mother was not a fan of Britt, and yet that's all I've gone by since I was like 12. She's grown to love it too lol
