I have 2 pairs of Sanuk yoga mat flip flops - black and brown, 3 pairs of Reef Fannings - black/white, brown/pink, khaki/pink/white, 2 other pairs of Reefs - one black, one brown, a pair of pink leather flip flops with a big flower on the strap, a pair of jeweled pewter flip flops, plain silver. I also have a pair of Nikes and a pair of adidas that I don't really wear anymore. All but one of my Old Navy flip flops have been thrown away. Each year I buy myself a pair of Fannings. One year I had to buy myself two bc I lost a sandal in a kayaking mishap at the end of the previous summer. However I do like the Sanuks and they come in a similar variety of colors. FWIW I have tried Rainbows but they don't fit my feet, and I don't find havanais (sp) or flojos comfortable at all. I would buy a pair of designer flip flops if they were comfortable and in my budget.
What is the deal with these Reef sandals? Is this a fashion thing or is there some other reason they are so great?
my favorite are the Reef Fanning which have a bottle opener in the sole (comes in way handier than you think!). The actual sole is wider and more sturdy than a regular rubber flip flop, there is some semblance of arch support, and the strap is wide and comfortable. This means I can wear them on a day where there will be a great deal of walking and not regret it at the end if the day.

- How many pairs do you own, roughly? I DON'T KNOW, SIX?
- Do you color coordinate them with your outfit? NO
- Do you usually stick to a solid color such as black? MIXED
- Do you buy a few new pairs every season? YES. USUALLY BECAUSE I'M OUT AND MY FEET HURT AND WE'RE ALWAYS NEAR OLD NAVY WHEN THAT HAPPENS. BUT I THROW THOSE OUT.
- Do you own any designer flip flops? NO. THERE ARE BURBERRY AND GUCCI ONES I REALLY WANT, BUT I JUST CAN'T.

Three pairs. One aqua pair from the dollar store. One platinum pair and one beige pair from Old Navy when they were one sale for $2 a pair. No I don't coordinate with outfits. I grab whatevers close. I usually keep one pair in my gym bag for showers at the gym, a couple around the house for slipping into to dash outside without putting real shoes on. I don't own designer flip flops.
4-5 pairs. None are designer- they are all Nike and Adidas sport flip flops bc of my back, I need support. I do have one pair of Havianas but they don't provide the support I need. Yes, I get a new pair or two every year, and toss a few every year. I only wear them on the weekends with yoga pants so no outfit to coordinate.

I have 6 or 7 pairs of the Teva Mandalyn Ola wedges. The wedge gives me a little cushion, which helps because I have the knees of an 80 year old woman. The straps are criss-cross, and it wraps around your toe, which I find less annoying. I buy one or two new pairs a year and rotate out the beat up ones. I usually have a couple of pairs in black and brown, with various colored straps.
How many pairs do you own, roughly? I own 1 pair of flip flops
- Do you color coordinate them with your outfit? Not normally as the only pair I have is pink.
- Do you usually stick to a solid color such as black? I normally only buy solids but if I find a print I like I will buy them.
- Do you buy a few new pairs every season?I haven't bought any in a couple years. I haven't worn flip flops in a couple years either because my husband always complained when I wore them.
I don't know, I think they are sooo uncomfortable. I can't stand anything in between my toes. And they are bad for your feet. I also equate them to going out in public in sweat pants. Put on some real pants and shoes, people!
One pair of black Bernardo One pair of brown Tory Burch One pair of silver Havianas One pair of pink J Crew Five pairs of Old Navy -- black, silver, bronze, red, brown
- How many pairs do you own, roughly? One right now, but I plan to buy another pair or two this summer.
- Do you color coordinate them with your outfit? Yes, but the pair I have is black so that isn't too difficult since black is a neutral and I rarely wear browns.
- Do you usually stick to a solid color such as black? Mine are black expect the under side of the strap, which is bright pink.
- Do you buy a few new pairs every season? Not normally. I had the same 3 pairs for a few years until we lived in a house where I wasn't comfortable showering without wearing flip-flops as the sewage frequently spewed up through the shower. This is also why I currently only have one pair.
- Do you own any designer flip flops? Do $5 Panama Jack flip-flops from WalMart count as designer? No? Oh, well, then no, I do not.
I love flip flops! I can walk all day in them! I have several pairs with different purposes - pool, inside, outside, etc. Mine are all cheapies, like Old Navy and Locals. This post is making me think I should try some Reefs or Rainbows. I usually buy a few new pairs as old ones wear out. I don't really co-ordinate with outfits.

Three pairs of Reefs. One black, one brown, one white. I can always find one that goes with my outfit.
Oh, I also have a pair of red ones that I only wear in the house. They are my summer slippers (we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so the floor is always filthy and I don't like walking around barefoot). They don't coordinate with anything.
I have 5 pairs. 3 are cheap ON flip flops that I haven't worn in years and should probably get rid of. One is a silver pair with fake jewels on it that I wore for my wedding because I had a shoe mishap(my cat ate my shoes and I didn't realize until a few weeks before the wedding and didn't care to get new nice shoes). The last pair is navy blue Havaians that I LOVE. If I ever want to spend $20 on another pair of flip flops it will be black Havaians. I love that they aren't slippery when walking in water and that they are so smooshy. I haven't bought new flip flops in two years, I've just been wearing the Havanians for the last two.
