I am a member of the ugly shoe club. I haven't owned a pair of boots since I stopped horseback riding in the 10th grade. I tend to dress more casual, but I would like something to wear with dresses this fall/winter. I don't do skinny jeans, but maybe that will change? I lost about 30 lbs last year, and am feeling good about my body right now and trying to be more stylish. I also am trying to stay away from heels to be gentler to my feet. I've started running and really enjoy it and I don't want to ruin my feet/calves.

That said, I'm also trying to cut back on the money that I am spending and these boots with the F&F discount are $140, which seems lower than any other boots I have seen. I would prefer to not have the buckles, but I can't find anything better.

Anyway, what's the verdict?
