It's a single serve coffee maker, like the Keurig, but instead of capsule pods the coffee comes in flat disks. You slide the disk in the machine, it punches holes in the disk, forces water through the holes and brews the espresso that way. It doesn't make coffee, but actual espresso shots.
I think the logo was red and square. I thought it was illy, but I can seem to find it.

The coffee people in there know pretty much everything about every kind of espresso machine ever made and they could probably point you in the direction of where to find it. They carry Illy pods, so they may even be able to special order an Illy machine.

Genius! Stupid me, I didn't even think to check Sur La Table.
let me know if you find it and what you think of that type of machine! I have this FWP of my espresso machine was too heavy and bulky to haul on our wine country trip this summer, and I want a smaller espresso machine to bring on trips like that A keurig-esque thing would probably work well.
