What kind of top and skinny jean question

What kind of top do I wear with this skirt?

Also, how do you know if skinny jeans are too tight? I always have creases in the jeans right on the back of my thighs. If I go a bigger size, it's too big in the butt/calves. I just can't seem to find a pair that doesn't create this.

For jeans, I think some crease is ok, but it shouldn't be pulling too much, if you're standing up straight. What brands/stores have you been trying, and what is your body type?

I think for the skirt I would keep the top ultra simple -- a t-shirt or basic tank top style, or a button-up shirt like one made of chambray.
