Nothing's wrong with them--I'm just curious what percentage of this group wears them. Inspired by the what do you think of these shorts poll? I didn't even know what to write--I am that far from wearing or judging shorts.

I do, but rarely -- like if I am going to a theme park or some other place where I will be outside in the heat all day.
It's not because I think shorts are a fashion faux pas -- its because I am self-conscious about my jiggly thighs.
ETA: I am pear shaped. I only own two pairs of "real" shorts -- black and khaki -- but I got both from Ann Taylor Loft. Incidentally, the size label in these asserts that I am about 2 sizes smaller than I really am. I am not fooled by your vanity sizing, ATL!
I rarely wear shorts. I dont find them comfortable and I think my legs are super long and I have bony knees making shorts look funny. I will wear dresses though. Just not super short ones for the most part.
Yes, but I wear them longer than most people do. Short shorts get caught up in my thigh fat and create an unflattering bunching. Even then I don't wear shorts or skirts often bc I don't have nice legs, haha.
Very, very rarely, and only if I find them super cute. I feel frumpy in basic shorts, and I fear that I don't have the legs for shorts anymore really. I did wear shorts once this summer (navy ones with sailboats on them) but even though I love them pattern in theory, I didn't love wearing them.
I have legs that I'm not comfortable showing to others. I'm short, squat, and a lot of my weight is in my legs, so they're huge and pasty white. No one needs to see that.
But, I don't much care if other people wear shorts. That's their call.
I love shorts in summer time. It's just too hot not to wear them. I'm pear-shaped and have the best luck with Calvin Klein shorts (I usually get them at Costco).

I’m apple shaped also, so my legs are a better asset than the rest of my body. While weather allows, I wear shorts on the weekends, when I’m home & to BBQs. I’m in a dress at all other times.
There's nothing wrong with shorts, but some people don't like their legs or have issues. My mom had both knees replaced, and hates her scars. So she won't wear knee-length skirts or shorts any more.
