I'm starting to look at Costco's Holiday/Christmas/Whatever cards and trying to figure out how many I might order this year. I don't want to send as many as I did last year, it was like 50-ish.
I like to do photo cards, and this year it will be this photo, except cropped so my dog's wang doesn't show:
SS- Since I've been married I've never sent holiday cards. I'm hoping this change this year with the arrival of Betty. I want to do photo cards, but I'm still waiting for some hair to grow back on her legs (the vet school shaved her) before I take family pictures. It's up in the air if we're doing family pics/cards this year. If I do end up sending them then it'll be family and friends, but mostly friends.
SS - some friends (mostly the ones who live far away or that we rarely see), aunts & uncles, my cousins but not H's (he doesn't have a relationship with them really). I think last year we did manage to get them out and it was about 30.
I feel bad, but I've never done Christmas cards Which is weird, because normally I'm a very crafty person. I think I made cards for my ILs, parents and sister last year. We have a couple friends who do holiday cards and it seems so grown up, we should do it. I feel though, it's weird to start out of the blue with no particular reason since we haven't done it the past 3 years.

I did SS. I do all family that I have contact info for and any friends that I keep in touch with any other time during the year (even an occasional email). I don't send cards to friends from college or old work friends that I haven't at least emailed in the last year.
SS - some friends, no family. my family is all local, so i think sending cards is kind of silly. we might send them this year to h's aunts/uncles/cousins in CA. might.

Extended family, current friends, and friends from highschool/college that we keep in touch with. In all probably 60ish people. Although this year we may try and do a photo e-card. Easier and more environmentally friendly (at least that is my excuse).

My dad does this every year. He ends up sending like 500.
I did it once when I was in high school; I sent one to anyone I was friends with from my 2 summer camps, relatives on my mom's side who didn't get his card, and some other friends. I think it was about 150.
I want to do it this year but W thinks I'm nuts. Basically it will be anyone who was invited to our wedding, plus a few more extended family and a lot more friends. Probably 150 HH total, maybe 200. I guess I'll be doing all the labelling!

I have never sent out Christmas cards, but I'm thinking about doing it. DH might not be as interested though...especially since I want to do a cheesy photo with us and the animals.
I'd probably send them out to family and a few friends.
My family is huge, but I still send them to my aunt and uncles and a few close cousins. Figure the rest can see them at their parents'. In total we send out about 100 cards.
