Yeah I don't know just b/c you know I don't live in the area any more. The last time I had a tomato pie it was from the original shop without a bathroom in the not-so-nice neighborhood in Trenton.
Robbinsville is pretty easy to get to, right off of I-195 and Rt. 130/33, close to Exit 7A of the NJ Turnpike. It is good and the same family as the now closed Hudson St. location. I like that they have fancy salads to go with your pizza. It's BYOB.
Hamilton Ave. is the other Delo's. Parking is a pain, street parking only about 1/2 a block away. The area has deteriorated, but I've never felt unsafe coming or going. Although, whenever I get takeout after work they insist on walking it back to my car for me. Pizza only here - no salad. Also BYOB.
For more of a detour -
In Princeton there's Conte's Bar - Pizza/Pasta/Salad. They have really good homemade sausage.
Then in Hopewell, even more out of the way, there's two more gourmet/locally sourced options-- Nomad - Brick oven and Osteria Proccani - Terra Cotta. Both have Pizza and Salad. Osteria Proccaccini also has panini.
To get to the DeLorenzo's in Robbinsville from the tpk is super easy. Take exit 7a to 195 west to exit 5 (1 exit) and take 130 N to Robbinsville Allentown Rd, it is the 2nd or 3rd light. Then make a sort of left onto rt 33 and it is on the right hand side.
Nomad and Osteria Proccacini are great too but more of a detour. They're also a different kind of pizza as Trenton Style tomato pie is another animal entirely. However once you are at either one you can get back to 95 s relatively easily and take that into Philly instead of the tpk/295.
