I used to only paint my toenails, but I’ve just started painting my fingernails (for the first time- like ever!).
I normally use Orly Bonder as my basecoat, then (2) coats of OPI nail polish, and then apply Poshe topcoat when my nails are still wet (per Poshe instructions).
My nail polish is usually chipping in 2 days! I am on the computer for my job all the time, so I know that has some part to do with the nail polish chipping, but should I be doing anything else differently? Should I switch out any products?
I use Zoya Anchor basecoat and Seche Vite top coat. I'm on day 5 of my mani w/no chips.
Sometimes I feel like it can be the actual polish though. I have Zoya polish on right now but Orly on my pedi and my pedi already chipped on 4 toe nails within 24 hours (and 8 of those hours were overnight while I was sleeping!) I would try a different brand of polish color and see if it still happens.
The only nail polish that will stay on my nails is Essie. I use the Essie base, Essie color, and Essie top coat. All other polishes chip within 2 days. Essie will last for 5 days.
I use Seche Vita topcoat. Love. I'm currently using Julep's Basecoat. I like it, though it's nothing spectacular. I've heard good things about CND Sticky Base Coat.

I was using Bonder and when I got a new bottle noticed that it didn't seem to work as well. I'm wondering if they tweaked the formula. I know a lot of people don't like the Seche Vite for shrinkage issues, but Poshe chipped within 12 hours of me doing my nails and I was asleep for 9 of the 12 hours. I'd try Seche Vite. I switched from Bonder to Butter London's Base and love it. The Butter London base is a pale pink matte and can also be worn alone if need be. It is really tacky like Bonder used to be, but it's rubbery and not sticky.
I use Orly Bonder and Seche Vite and they make my polish last for a week. I used my sister's Butter London base and top coats and they are really good. One nail chipped a tiny bit, but I just put another top coat and it was fine.
It does take longer to dry than Seche Vite though and I got a few dents.
Butter London Base with their top coats chipped and dented on me, but the base with Seche Vite lasts a long time.

The Seche Vita topcoat peels off my nails. The entire top coat will come off in one sheet. So strange! I love that stuff because it dries your nails so fast, but it won't stay on my nails.
