The sad state of my wardrobe

I really feel like it is pretty pathetic right now. I wish I hadn't bought so many work clothes back when I was working!!

I haven't bought tank tops, which I wear to sleep in, the gym, around the house, occasionally with jeans, etc., since '05. And now... it is time to get new ones. My old ones have lost shape and some are just literally falling apart. They lasted a long time though - they were from Banana Republic, back when they didn't change the style to what they have now.

Anyway. Can you recommend where you get your basic tanks from? I don't want them to lose shape or stretch out.

I ahve been using jcrew and shade ones. They are extra long too. The shade ones are maternity.

I second liz Lange at Target. I also have some from F21 that I can wear pregnant or not pregnant. They haven't lost their shape after being stretched out.

I have a bunch that I picked up at the Jockey Outlet store that I love for sleeping and working out. They are a little longer so my stomach doesn't show when I am stretching in yoga class/zumba class.

I love the Mossimo tanks from Target - I have a bunch in different colors, they're awesome.

I needed some basic tank tops in early summer. I bought a 3 pack online from Walmart for like $10 and I really like them. They are comfortable and haven't stretched or lost shape during that time or through washings. I just got a 3-pack that had black, white and a black & white print. I figured with 97 cents shipping and how cheap the total cost was it was worth a shot trying them out and I wound up liking them.
