My tops are Lucy Hale or Shailene Woodley for Ana and I am thinking potentials for Christian as Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer or maybe even Ryan Gosling.
I haven't read the book, but from what I know about it my vote is for Mila Kunis. But I only recognize three of those women by name (Kunis, Hermione, and Bella).
Or they should just put Bella and Edward in it and own up to the book's twilight fanfic roots.
EDIT okay W watches Vampire Diaries as a joke, so I know who Elena is but didn't know her real name.
How in the world are they going to make this a non-porno movie? Seriously? Maybe it's just me, but the content seems a bit much for a normal R rated movie. I do think Alexis Bleidel (however you spell her name) would be good though.
I've never read the book, but wasn't this an erotic novel? How is this going to be a mainstream movie?
Well, Crash and Showgirls got theatrical releases. And I'm sure there's a level of sex between Crash and that steamy Diane Lane movie (Unfaithful?) that they could go for and keep an R rating.

This. They're going to have to rate it NC-17 or a very hard R, or cut some of the sex scenes entirely - because OMG the graphic-ness.

Exactly. Even taking out the actual sex scenes, the content itself is pretty uh... adult.
I haven't read it, but the bits I know make me say hell to the en-oh on Mila Kunis. She's too good, and I just could not (and would not WANT) to see her as wimpy, submissive, whiney Ana.
Ugh this book annoys me so damn much. I read the first one and then half of the second because I bought the damn series after hearing so many amazing things and I can't even finish it. It's porn and not good porn. I mean really, there are so so so many better things like that to read. So for the movie I basically want no one I like in it, lol.

I agree emy. I only read the free exerpt you can get for digital download. I couldn't stand her writing, and will likely think less of any big actor that is in the movie.

This exactly, for me too. I think Alexis Bledel would look great, but I don't think she's the right actress - she's still Rory in my mind. I think Ana needs to be a 'nobody' actress for me to be okay with it.

This is me, too, except I finished the series. I was SO glad when it was over. I felt dumber for having read it. I immediately jumped into reading The Hobbit. LOL
