Chicago Ladies - Burlington Coat Factory

The Burlington Coat Factory opened on State St (where Filene's Basement was). I was surprised at how good their selection was. I came home with a fall and winter coat (Jack and Guess) for $120 + tax. I didn't have a ton of time to look around but I think it's going to be dangerous for me.

The one near me is kind of ghetto, but they do have a ton of great steals. Great prices on name brand purses, shoes, coats and jewelry!

I went to one in Palm Springs, CA last spring. That one was super ghetto, they didn't even have a decent selection of coats!. This new one is pretty nice. The space's been redone and they had a lot of good brand names.

Ha! we must be neighbors. the one near me is total trash but i sneak in there every now and then to browse and usually buy something. They do have a large coat selection.

The one by me in the burbs is totally ghetto too. There used to be a semi nice one nearby but it closed a few years ago. The one that's left is awful, not even worth browsing. That's good to know the new one downtown is worthwhile!
