Often. We get books, music, and movies. All free to borrow. We live in a large city so great selection at the Main and easy to get things from the surrounding smaller libraries. The two smaller libraries near where I live are very good too.

Yes I go about every week or every other week. I used to buy most of my books, but when I couldn't afford to keep up with that habit I darted going to the library. I usually find books I want to read and put them on hold through the library's website. They email me when holds are ready and I go pick them up.
One of the reasons I'm not huge on e-readers is because I don't want to buy books. My library's ebook selection is pretty limited.
The only books I buy anymore are new ones for my classroom and ones that my library doesn't have for book club. I love my library but do all my requests online and have the librarians pull them for me and stick them on the hold shelf. I pick up books roughly every 2 weeks or so. My theory is that by doing online requests it shows the library board the librarians are needed since there has been talk of reducing our library staff.
I don't actually really GO to the library, but I use my library all the time. I have a kindle and my local library has ebooks. I just go on the website for the library, get myself onto the waiting list of the book I want, and then I get an email when its available and I just have to click through a check out process and voila (walla!) its on my kindle.
If the ebook isn't available, I can also get on the waiting list for any hard copy book in the entire state. Then they send me an email when it is ready and waiting at my local library, and I pick it up. I can also drop the book off at any library in the entire state. It's great. All of our libraries in the state are linked, but then again I live in the smallest state so I guess its pretty easy for them to coordinate.
I loved the library as a kid and am a big fan as an adult too. My library partners with others around the state to offer both ebooks and audiobooks for download at home. I've become a huge fan of audiobooks; I love listening to them while I garden or drive.
I do still go in to the physical library though. I love wandering the stacks and seeing what I stumble across.

I get the majority of my books in e-book format from the library so I don't often go for myself. Our library is pretty awesome though and has some great children's programs so I take the girls once a week for storytime and to pick out books for them.
Yes, every week. I got a new library card before I moved into our house. Although I always go to the library within our system but the next town over. Its much more active and better library.
Very rarely, maybe a few times a year. Used to work at one throughout high school and college. All my books are electronic or have to buy directly now though, since the library does not normally have up to date technical books.

I consider this the one mm thing I do. My city has a great online reservation system though so I only go in the library to pick up the book that is waiting for me. I don't read a lot though. I also haven't done much with the e-reader books.
occasionally. mostly i borrow from friends or buy at yard sales. i hit a sale last week that was selling 3 for $1. i bought 9. then i'll donate or pass them on when i'm done.
I love the library & still have a renegade card from before our move. Our current town isn't allowed to participate in our county-wide library program. Please don't ask why - I don't understand it, & it's a subject of much irritation. God forbid I ever lose my existing card - I can't get it replaced & it will be sad times.
All systems are different and I'm not trying to burst your bubble, just forewarn you...your card will mst likely expire at some point.
I have my library card that I got when I was 6 from my hometown. It still works to check out books from their elibrary.
I have library cards for about 4 different library systems, and I probably visit the library twice a month. I also request the books I want to read and then pick them up when they come in.
If there's something I want to read that they don't have there, I either request it from a nationwide interlibrary loan service or buy the ebook. I usually only buy hard copies of books I love and want to own forever.
I went all the time in NYC. In France, I've been too lazy to figure out the bureacracy involved with getting a library card, but I have gone to the Alliance Francaise library while taking classes there. There's an American library in town, too, but it's not that close to my house.
I place my hold requests online, and the new library that was just built here to replace the old building has a drive through window for picking up holds. So now I don't even have to get out of the car.
