I am cross-posting this from S&B, because this boards gets more traffic. My extended family will be getting together at Thanksgiving, and we are going to be having professional pictures taken, of both the entire family and individual family groups. I have been instructed that we are to wear "earth tones." When I asked exactly what the organizer had in mind, I was told, "brown, tan, green, dark blue". I need help finding outfits for my family. The pictures are going to be outside in a wooded location. Relevant info:
Me: wear size 12 or 14, would be most comfortable in jeans/top, but have been wearing more dresses
DH: Hates wearing sweaters, most comfortable in a button down but will ultimately wear what I tell him to
DS: wears size 5, likes to wear button downs and boots with jeans for dressing up (easiest to get him to wear a shirt if it looks somewhat like a "cowboy" shirt).
DD: wears size 24 mos or 2T, loves to wear frilly and/or poofy things. She already has a brown corduroy skirt (pencil skirt style) that I would like to use if I could find something to go with it.
I have a hard enough time finding outfits for myself that look good, I am lost at trying to coordinate outfits for the whole family, especially with such a limited color palate. Anyone have any suggestions/ideas, of either specific pieces or places to look for inspiration?

we are a jeans family - so we stickw with that. plus is everyone is comfortable - it will be easier to get smiles!
I would put DH in dark jeans with a solid button down DD in the cord skirt - cute shoes/boots and a cream sweater DS in the outfit you described - if everyone else is in a solid he can be in a plaid shirt You - jeans with riding boots and a tan sweater with scarf in a bright burgandy or other brighter "earth tone"
