The original prenup (which has gone MIA) is now needed, even though it wasn't a few hours ago. No court tomorrow. FUCK! I just want something done. Now I am sobbing at my desk.
WTF?! How were they able to work out the settlement and divorce previously without it?
We have copies of it, just not the original. All decisions were based off of the copies. His attorney said several times that copies were fine. His attorney is apparently an idiot.
So what happens if the original is never found? It never existed?
My copy is missing. He has a copy in a safety deposit box in Miami. He's going there next week to get it. It looks like we will now go to court on Monday, October 15th. UUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHH! I can't remember the last time I was this stressed or annoyed.
Could you contact either of the attorneys you worked with when you originally had the prenup drawn up? I work for an estate planning attorney, and whenever we do a premarital agreement, we always excute four originals-- one for each spouse and one for the attorney of each spouse. If we had this situation come up, we could get you an original same day. It's a thought...
You guys should slash his precious tires while we're in court and then jump out from behind the car!
Messing with him would be sooooo easy given his hang ups. It wouldn't even have to be illegal--like we could just put hand prints all over his car or throw some dirty water on it. I am laughing at the thought of how something so small would probably enrage him
When it gets cold enough we can slap some lunchmeat all over the car. My friend used to do this in high school, in Alaska
