Go to Ann Taylor Loft. I ordered a bunch of stuff in my correct size and there were swimming on me so I took it back to the store today and tried on a few other things. I ended up with a Small shirt (I am NOT a small) and a size 8 pair of pants (I am NOT a size 8). And it is bloated time of the month. I'm not even sure if the stuff looks good on me. I don't care. They are a size SMALL and an 8!
Land's End vanity sizing has been crazy lately, to the point it made me mad. I wear an 8-10 in pants and tried on a dress in 6-8 and it was swimming on me. I, in no way shape or form, wear a 2-4 size...only at Land's End.
This is how I felt about jcrew the other day. I tried on and bought a pair of capris and jeans in size 2. I also tried on the infamous pencil skirt in wool in a 2 and it was so loose i never would have worn it. I didn't bother trying on the 0 because a. that's fucking ridiculous and b. I wasn't going to buy it anyway. I've lost some weight but at my height and weight I shouldn't really wear anything smaller than a 4 imo.
Agreed with the Loft and Land's end sizing. The problem is that I never know what size to order when I shop online, it's frustrating. And when I'm in store, I end taking back 2 or 3 sizes of everything I want to try on (I'm also short, so that complicates things!)
