I'm not really stressed. I've been extra cranky this week, but I thought it was just PMS until I looked in my app and saw I was due last Wed or Thursday.

For me, it's mostly stress. I'm convinced, too, that being around a new set of women all the time (for example, when I started college or a new job) throws it off too. Have you recently started a new job?
No new job. 2.5 years, 1.5 years in the same cube with the same cube neighbors.
You know, after more googling - stress or old sounds like the best bet. *sigh*
I did go through chemo when I was 30. At the time they said I could go through menopause from that. I didn't. But, now I'm trying to remember if they told me it could also lead to early menopause later. hmm....
Might have to buck up and call my OB/GYN. Or rather, call an OB/GYN. I haven't found a new one since I moved last year.
This happened to me last month and then it came again, though I will say it seemed heavier than normal so be prepared for that. I was assured by the nesties it was NBD.

I am pretty sure that it is somewhat normal to have a delayed/absent period occasionally for no "real" reason. If you dont get a period by the next time it should come around, then you could call your doctor.
If you are perimenopausal, is that a reason to see a doctor? Like, are they supposed to be notified right away of such things? I would just keep track until your next scheduled appointment, or if you dont get your period when the next one is due (i.e. miss 2 in a row), then call. But for sure bring it up at your next appointment, even if only happens the one time.
SpicedApplePie - it's been long enough since I've seen an obgyn, that I probably should take this as a sign.
A check-up would probably rule out any of the rare possibilities, so it probably wouldn't hurt to schedule one. I wouldn't go in just for a missed period, but I would go since it has been a while.
I have a gyno rec if you are interested...just let me know.'The practice has multiple offices around MD
If carrots doc rec isn't the one I recd to her I can give you an office as well. My mom went through menopause early and the doc was very supportive and not pulling the whole too young thing.
Mine was 8 days late a couple months ago and it wasn't related to anything. It showed up and was only 3 days long and then returned on time the next month. It wouldn't hurt to see a gyno but I bet it shows up next month and is just a fluke. Good luck!
