Toddler friendly vacation recs in TX

We'd like to go way for the weekend with ds. Hes 2so anything we do would have to be appropriate for him. I was thinking maybe the hill country or Dallas. Any recommendations or tips for traveling with a toddler?

Might be too young for it but:

Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine (indoor. Water park)
Legoland and aquarium at grapevine mills mall.

Dallas has the state fair going on right now. San Antonio comes to mind. My sister goes to Horseshoe Bay resort every year with my nieces and enjoys it.

San Antonio is great fun with a toddler. We went last year and hit up the Riverwalk and Sea World has a whole Sesame Street area with rides and shows and the characters walking around. There is also a toddler sized water park if the weather allows. We had planned to go to the children's museum but didn't have time.

Ditto Legoland and aquarium here in DFW. Those are in Grapevine. We also have the state fair going on in Dallas for another couple weeks.

San Antonio for sure. Sea world is a blast and there is a ton to do around the river walk area.

In Houston the children's museum and the zoo and drive down to Aton for moody gardens
