I guess that would be weird if someone wanted to come around the house just b/c they saw the address on a blog. Not as weird as being stalked though IMO

Do you think there even was a stalker?
I actually just read the entire blog today (I haven't heard anything besides what I read today) and I have doubts.
They had a zillion motion detector lights, infared cameras, regular cameras, police patrols and they couldn't even come close to catching this guy? It would seem he would have to be a super sophisticated criminal to pull all of this off. And usually criminals will make at least a small mistake. Does anyone really think this degenerate Keenan guy could pull this off?

I think she was stalked / harassed, but I don't think it was as extreme as the parents are making it out to be and I don't believe anyone broke in and killed her. I tend to think it was an accidental overdose.

I'm fascinated by this whole thing.
I think, if the person was smart enough, that yes they could do it.
They would had to have stalked the house for a while and then pulled back long enough to see where the motion lights and cameras were. The cameras only went out 40 feet and the lights don't go out that far either. Nor do trail cams, they're more 20 feet. If Keenan did it, as a hunter, he'd know this. We have motion lights on our garage, I can easily walk past them and not set them off.
If no one bothered to think of the roof, then yes, he could do it. If it was Brooke, she looks light enough to crawl around on that roof without anyone suspecting her.
Also, as someone in the comments mentioned, if it was Keenan, the layout of his roof is kind of the same. With a hiding spot then openness. He could have practiced on his own roof and had Brooke or someone let him know if they could hear him.
But, he must have done a TON of waiting on that roof. However, since they have that spot on their roof that allows someone to hide, he could have easily hidden.
I just think it's stupid that no one thought about the roof. Like, the entire time. Except the dog, she is very keen on telling you the dog knew. Rhonda's dog.
But they also said no cameras were really pointed at the Aspen tree. So depending on where he came from, he could get up it. And since the parents were convinced this person was coming through the berm path, while they watched the path, he could have skirted around it and come in another direction.
ETA: After dicking around with google earth, I'm leaning towards that path always being there. And that other people used it to get to the horses. Just because Morgan didn't use it, doesn't mean no one else, ever used it. And, the horse place could have mowed it down as to not get themselves tangled up in this mess.
ETA: What is the importance of the Mom always talking about the one room with the light on in Brooke and Keenan's house? They're teenagers, they leave lights on and stay up. But she constantly mentions "that room that we don't know what's in it".
ETA: But come ON, if you hear a loud bang or crash in your house and you check your entire house and garage; would you not think to check an attic or roof?

I just don't think Keenan and Brooke could have pulled something like that off. They're young and probably not the most stable or brightest of the bunch.
I'd like to read more on this because I also find it interesting that the cops were called to the house over 50 times, yet didn't feel the need to take fingerprints or foot castings. There are just way too many unanswered questions for me.

The cops also said, on TV, that they never found evidence of stalking. But they never bothered to take the shoe castings. I want to know what the MO of the cops lying would be?
And, if the stalker was going to kill her, you'd think he would have done it sooner. He could have followed her to a friends house where she walked to her car by herself. She also walked down a street some by herself and refused her parents offering of picking her up. She also would walk her dog outside the house. And the night she let the dog out and she was on the back deck and saw the dude, he could have easily nabbed her then too.
I think whomever was stalking, was simply stalking and not intending to kill. He had too many chances. But according to her Mom, he took the chance in a house with everyone home. That's pretty ballsy.
