You know what's really odd? The media is making such a huge deal about bullying these days (mostly about teens/children/minorities, etc) and yet, a lot of the election-based comments I'm seeing online (largely from media sources) are distinctly bully-ish in nature.
Bullying usually includes an imbalance of power in some regard. Politicians are just assholes. But they are equal in the hierarchy of power. It doesn't mean they aren't being jerks and picking on each other, just that they aren't bullying. It's similar to getting into an argument with your friend and calling each other names. That is fighting, not bullying.
