You should be! And no more pity parties! You are young (younger than me, dammit!), intelligent and pretty. There is no reason for women like us to be down on themselves!
I watched that movie last night too, and had a lot of laughs. Movies have seem kind of sucky lately, and I think this was one of the funniest ones I've seen in a while.
I wanted to rent this but I'm still in the thick of my divorce and feared it would just leave me a blubbering, sobbing mess!
Yup, I know what you mean. I went to a wedding a month post-divorce and the bride was awful (had the emcee call me up for the bouquet toss, not once, not twice, but three times by my full name until I was pulled up out of my chair and onto the dance floor with all of the other single women) and the experienced scarred me.
I cried at that movie too. But I'm really not sure why. I can't tell if I was happy but I wasn't really sad. I didn't laugh at anything either but I thought the ending was kind of adorable.
Yeah me too. I went from the dance floor to the bar, where I chugged wine. Then I went to the hookah area (yeah it was one of those $1M weddings) and there were no seats so some guy offerred his lap and I sat on his knee because he was cute. Then his GF came up and bitched me out about how I was a home wrecker (umm, hi, nice to meet you, I have no idea you were together!) and then I went to my friend crying because I was upset and she told me that just because I'm single doesn't mean I can go sitting on men's laps who have girlfriends. WTF?!
Worst. Wedding. Ever.
Holy shit seriously?!! I hope u aren't friends with this chick still?!!
