Friday: $100+ to see one of the worst plays I ever saw $60 for dinner $0 to stalk the Space Shuttle Endeavour
Saturday: $30 brunch $200+ to see an awesome production of the Where the Wild Things Are operetta conducted by Dudamel $0 to stalk the Space Shuttle Endeavour
Sunday: $20 for tickets to Argo - highly recommend $30 for brunch
Very good: $40 dinner on Friday (which yielded leftovers that lasted for lunch today)
$8 to bring a pie to our friend's BBQ on Saturday
$87 groceries on Sunday
We're in big time savings mode, though, so we're trying not to spend any extra right now. The $40 dinner was a splurge b/c DH received a reimbursement check and we just put a little bit towards a good meal.
Krapp's Last Tape - a one act play starring John Hut. I had no idea what it was about and kept waiting for something to "happen". The only thing that happened was that I realized I never wanted to grow old. lol So depressing. Beautifully acted, though. lol
I think you have to be old to really like and get that play on a deeper level. Fortunately most of the audience fit that criteria. lol
Friday: $17 for lunch, $32 at Target, $24 for dinner, $70 for a pair of jeans I ordered online Saturday: $5 for Kindle book, $32 for movie and snacks, $20 for dinner, $62 for groceries Sunday: $0
Total: $262, but I also returned $83 worth of clothes I bought last weekend and I think I am going to return something at Target that was $17. So more like $162. That is very MM for us!
Friday: $1,000 at a work fundraising event. I'll be able to deduct most of it come tax time. Saturday: $4 pumpkin latte, $7 pizza, $50 Costco, $10 Target, $88 Sephora Today: $268 return, $5 burger, $40 Whole Foods, driving to Target for a humidifier now.
We need to DH's contract job ends this Friday and then it's all back to being on my shoulders and sqeaking by again. Hopefully he'll find a permanent job or at least another contract soon.
Friday: Very cheap but great play and drinks with friends, around $60 Sat and Sun: 0! DH went out of town Sat am and I have been acting like a hermit. At least I've gotten lots of work done.
Friday - $0, made pizzas at home and got a Redbox movie using a promo code Saturday - $25 on Rx copays, $22 on Halloween treats for my students at Target, $86 groceries Sunday - $40 for DH to take DD bowling and out for ice cream, $140 on 4 new pairs of shoes from Macy's. Not planned, but they had 30% off if you bought 3 or more and I needed some non-busted up work shoes.
$140 on groceries. That's a high week for us, but included food for a dinner party we hosted last night, and I was stocking up on produce after being out of town for work all week (DH really doesn't eat produce if I'm not here to cook/prep/encourage the consumption of it...).
Friday: dinner and drinks with friends $25; DH's dinner $8 Saturday: haircut & highlights $60; lunch at ikea $15; stuff at ikea $142; pizza for dinner $20 Sunday: $36 for tickets to see James Patterson and get his autograph (bought tickets and books a few weeks ago); $100 on groceries
